Akuma's Slide 2 Unlock Skins
For Versions 1.18 and up ONLY!

Hi all:
cuz of copyright issues A_C had to remove the original 1.17 skin from Slide 2 Unlock. I had fun modding the old 1.17 skin (which I loved) to work with 1.18 so I went a little further and did a little revamp of the current 1.18 skin. Differences between this and the 1.17 skin are subtle but definitely noticeable..especially against darker wallpaper. Also the Mod 2 skin is only 844 bytes against the originals 2672 bytes. Hopefully this translates to less memory usage.

Included in the zip are A_C's original 1.18 skin for backup purposes, the 1.17 skin modded for the current release AND my Mod2 skin. To use simply copy the contents of the skin folder you choose to your device's GFX\Res folder, restart ilock.exe and you're good to go.

PS: Any additional Slide skins/mods I make will be uploaded to this particular thread.

Did you have one for VGA..? I guess this works only with QVGA...:partyman:

What's up try4deepak, lol...thanks for the compliments man! I think Slide 2 Unlock is VGA compatible: since I modded/altered the original res packs these skins should work fine with VGA devices. These are just the top and bottom bar skins...backgrounds aren't included. Trust me, once you try this against a darker background you won't go back.

I haven't tested, akuma. Jus want to test some time later coz i don't have my PPC with me now.. Coz i left it at home, i'm on vaccation..:D

It's on this forum in Freeware Applications but it's not the latest version. Get the updated program at the developers site:

Be sure to download both the 1.18 program AND the 1.182 patch. You'll need them both. If you're new to using the program follow his instructions CAREFULLY (please do NOT post help requests and install problems in this thread..there's enough documentation on the developer's site AND in the included readme: this thread is strictly for any skins I might create for the program).
