I notice that the signing of application process has been changed and previously the program downloaded from symbiansigned.com cannot be used?

Can anyone advise me whether it is still the same process or there is a change and how to get the application signed to be used in P1i?

so does it work? sorry to ask this stupid question because i just want to make sure it works since i am still on dial up and the way to find out will be painful, unless it's worth doing :)

it is the same process, the file you signed at symbiansigned.com is not working in your new phone because the imei of your new phone is different to the imei of the earlier signed file

i uploaded smartmovie_cracked to "symbiansigned" wedsite but it is not allowing to sign the app.

so, pls kindly give the details of signing a "cracked" app..

Buddy you are not suppose to upload the file to symbian signed...
You get a certificate from symbiansigned...
That cert is to be used to sign the files...

i uploaded the .CSR file not the .SIS file, and downloaded the certificate for that file from symbiansigned.
when i am going to upload the "SMARTMOVIE_CRACKED.CSR", it is not allowing to upload that file. it is saying that CRACKEDS VERSIONS are not uploaded..

Yes you can use one cert to sign any amount of apps till the cert expires...
Those apps will work only for that phone whos IMEI is used to make the cert

i had a "X-plore_UIQ_3_0.cer" file. whether i can sign other apps with my X-plore_UIQ_3_0 certificate. by renaming the certificate to other apps..

Why not rename the file before uploading and why upload a file cracked in its file name. I guess that is the reason it failed to sign before.

i hav signed Xplore, LCG jukebox which are beta versions. But i am not able to sign Other apps i.e. Smartmovie, etc.. which are "cracked apps"... :prayer:pls give the link for signing Cracked apps...

There is no option for Devlopers certificate on my symbiansigned page. csr file can not be uploaded there. They have changed the option.

i have the same problem. I cannot sign any files anymore (for anyone else that is, sigh!!!!!), i guess we will hae to wait and see what happens in the future! unless anyone knows something i do not????

Hey guys, there is a simply way to sing your applications today and it’s really easy:

1.- your phone must be hacked for full access either way, using the phyton script or using capsoff
2.- copy the file 00000001 to c:\resource\swicertstore\dat and make it read only using Xplorer or SWmanager (maybe you need to create the folders)
3.- Sing your file using the certificate and key that it’s in the file and you are ready to go!!
