Try4Deepak 2nd August 2007, 19:33 Full Youtube and Google Video access[WM5/WM6]
For all you Tube-aholics, this is it! You now have direct, unfettered access to Youtube, Google Video & Veoh, in all their glory.
tcpmp 0.72RC1 is must
Requires pocket IE. This plugin will not work with Opera, NetFront, Picsel, etc. However, it is compatible with PiePlus.
If you follow the instructions exactly and use the preconfigured TCPMP settings, you should be able to play videos smoothly if your network connection is adequate.

3) Install FlashVideoBundle.CAB attached (this MUST be installed in the same location as TCPMP)
4) Soft-reset

grypho 2nd August 2007, 19:57 Be advised that it is NOT for m.youtube.com

steve-11 2nd August 2007, 19:57 hope it works on my smartphone 5.0
mikrohard 3rd August 2007, 00:09 It works fine on HTC Touch.... but does anybody know, why my device starts to work VERY slow, when I try to open youtube.com?? video.google.com works like a charm, but youtube.com freezes my phone...
grypho 3rd August 2007, 00:52 maybe you should try using skweezer to compress the web pages to avoid large graphic files from that site to load?
cme 3rd August 2007, 07:55 It working well on my PPC 6700!!:) installed on my storage card. Thanks
dealkk 3rd August 2007, 08:05 i have dash runing wm6 and i can't install TCPMP 0.72RC1.cab. it said something about not intended for this device. can you guy help?
car_lost 3rd August 2007, 08:09 When you say the flash bundle must be installed in the same location as TCPMP... do you mean Program Files/TCPMP/flash or Program Files/Flash?
cme 3rd August 2007, 08:13 All I gotta do is download the .zip file in the first post, unzip it, and run the cab on my phone? After that it's installed and I'm good to go?
thats what i did.
grypho 3rd August 2007, 08:19 i have dash runing wm6 and i can't install TCPMP 0.72RC1.cab. it said something about not intended for this device. can you guy help?
Im sorry, a dash is a Smartphone so this is not compatible with it...
grypho 3rd August 2007, 08:20 When you say the flash bundle must be installed in the same location as TCPMP... do you mean Program Files/TCPMP/flash or Program Files/Flash?
Just install both apps to storage card or RAM, you choose where. I was meant to say this.
car_lost 3rd August 2007, 08:22 Yea, I did that. I have both installed now. What's next? Just head over to youtube and click on a video?
grypho 3rd August 2007, 08:25 Yea, I did that. I have both installed now. What's next? Just head over to youtube and click on a video?
yes, go to youtube.com (not m.youtube.com) and click on a video, I recommend you to visit video.google.com, it's faster and has the same videos as youtube.
car_lost 3rd August 2007, 08:28 Hmm... I tried youtube.com and when I clicked on a video, the phone froze for a minute and then continued like nothing happened. I'll try google now. This is on a PPC6800 by the way.
car_lost 3rd August 2007, 08:29 video.google.com works! This is great!
I found this site searching for a crack for memmaid. Thank god I found this place!
grypho 3rd August 2007, 08:32 Yeah sometimes youtube doesn't work but google is better and has the same videos (its the same owner...). Im glad it worked for you. :-)
Flexamoria 3rd August 2007, 10:56 This is great...working fine with google videos
mikrohard 3rd August 2007, 15:36 Ok... youtube works now great too... I just had to remove the Macromedia Flash Player 7.

Any idea how to make Pocket IE to configure to open .divx urls in TCMP
there are very good divx sites like divxtube.ca and stage6.divx which have good quality videos.
Thnx in Advance

We all need to thnx grypho ([Only registered and activated users can see links]), who did this for us. Rep++ to him. grypho ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) will be here shortly and will answer all you're doubts. Coz he is the one who generated it to work. He is here to support all of us. Thnx all..!
anilkuj 3rd August 2007, 20:53 Thnx a lot grypho for this wonder contribution.
grypho 3rd August 2007, 22:28 like divxtube.ca... quality videos.
i think that nowadays is kinda difficult to open videos with sizes like that in our ppc's, you can try downloading the video as the download button from divxtube is still active when accesing through PocketIE, however, if I find something about this, I'll let you know.
anilkuj 3rd August 2007, 23:34 thnx for ur quick response let me try that
Anil
MisterMP0315 4th August 2007, 00:05 I tried this with the Kirvin_AKU_3.5_Sprint_NoJunk ROM for my 6700 and couldn't get it to work. It just froze my phone and opened nothing. I installed both cabs onto the device. Do I have to switch ROMS or what?
grypho 4th August 2007, 00:18 Try to install both cabs to your storage card to see it that fixes the problem, if not, try making a backup and doing a hard reset, if not, maybe it's your cooked rom...
MisterMP0315 4th August 2007, 01:34 Recommendations for a better ROM?
Installing both to the storage card worked like a charm. :ilove:
grypho 4th August 2007, 03:20 Recommendations for a better ROM?
Installing both to the storage card worked like a charm. :ilove:
There are lots of cooked roms now, you can visit xda-devs to find one that suits your needs...
grypho 4th August 2007, 09:28 Ok guys, I did it, I found the way of playing divx clips (i'm currently watching "hackers2: takedown" in TCPMP from divxtube) it sounds very complicated but it's very simple and fast...
1) You have to copy the download URL from the video you want to watch, for example:
hxxp://video.stage6.com//1484062/.divx (Hackers2)
2) Paste that link into a .m3u playlist (you can find one of this in TCPMP folder if you used the tool for watching google vids, it is named video.m3u).
3) Open it with word mobile using resco file explorer (Tap the video.m3u file and select "open"-->"open with"-->word mobile)
4) Paste the URL (example: hxxp://video.stage6.com//1484062/.divx) of the vid instead of the one you find there (something like video.google.com/bla/ble/bli...) and save it.
5) Open it (video.m3u) in TCPMP and start enjoying!
Video is very smooth, I really thought that this was not possible but I received a ray of light while smoking a cigarette and watching SF vs SD (Baseball) now... weird...
Ohh, and if you don't believe me, here it is, the .m3u file I created to watch Hackers2 now attached below, just open it and enjoy...
anilkuj 4th August 2007, 09:56 gr8 fing grypho !!!
thnx a lot for the tip it works gr8 .
the video quality is awesome .
sorry to trouble u again , anyway to make it play directly from browser

thnx in advance
Anil
grypho 4th August 2007, 10:13 gr8 find man !!!
this thing really works great .
the video quality is so ****n awesome .
sorry to trouble you again while watching the game , do u know an easy way of doing this like the original youtube plugin developed?
Hey guys, I'm sad to tell you that I did not developed this, please stop thinking that (I think you misunderstood my first reply to this topic and I've just realized that). This release was made by me in ppcw (this topic was kindly copyed by deepak from there...) but I didn't developed this, the original developer was a guy of treocentral (zbop), if you thought I developed this I'm really sorry... but someone will come with a kind of script that makes the thing that you want, I'm sure of it, in this forum there are gr8 devs...
Quote from original dev after proposing divx sites support and the way I found to make this work:
Grypho, good idea, sounds cool!
Originally I had only targeted flash video sites, but there's no reason the same can't be done for avi/divx/xvid sites too. Right now I have to focus on fixing some bugs, but I'll look into it as soon as they are taken care of.
roelajax 4th August 2007, 14:07 works very good!! Thanks
stengiam 4th August 2007, 18:55 PLesae help me. Can't get it to work. Tried inst on storage and device. Go to Youtube, screen said need newer flash player, can't load video in goggle.video also. Done anything wrong?

grypho 4th August 2007, 21:07 same with video.google.com, just the loading... screen
Damn! sound very weird.... maybe your PDA doesn't like this software... LOL. The last possibility is to make a hard reset and install it to see if some app was causing this...
grypho 4th August 2007, 21:10 Great application!!! Isn't weird that works smoothly with YouTube with me while I can't see even the video images on video.google.com?
Yeap... weird...
Please guys, be advised that the developer is fixing some critical bugs in this app so in the remote case that this software is not working in your device, be patient... Every device can have different results with this, keep in mind that.
stengiam 4th August 2007, 21:17 Anyway thx grypho, will try hard reset. (hate to do that) Will Keep u inform
mikrohard 27th August 2007, 10:21 Does youtube still work for anyone? It just stopped working for me. If I click on a link nothing happens. Video.google.com still works like a charm.
