Unfortunatelly, I got a certificate error when I tried to overwrite this version on my old one (which was signed to my N95 phone). Even if I uninstalled my old version at all, I am getting this communicate all the time. Any hint?

I have signed this new application with the same key as the old one and it works.

I had also this problem but when I have put singed file on card and then installed with phone not with computer. I worked fine.

So i dont now em i stupid or what?:) I signed app and instaling the same app in my n95 ,then instal map in folder e system route66 maps,so i make all what writing in yours instruction and nothing happening same problem eror file mising etc,etc....So can somebody tell me what i make wrong,firmware is new last for nokia n95 all instruction i folowing and nothin not working.So i begin sombody for help me because i don't now solution for helping my self for instaling this app.

It works fine on my n95. On my phone it is not necessary to open the slide to catch the gps signal, just waited two minutes.

the only difference a can discern is that in gps info screen the letters dont clash with the background using dark themes

otherwise there might be some minor bugfixes

inputing location data still sucks
compared to tomtom or even builtin maps app

for me it a good upgrade. i live in australia and the maps is calculating and it would crash in the same place. Now with this version i doesn't crash anymore. thanks for the upgrade.

Please someone would be so friendly, and uploads his folders from the SD Card please! If I install sis, the installer does delete me necessary files on the SD Card of my E70. Notion why!

Same problem here, on my friends phone, which is firmware V11 something.. dosent detect the gps. mine which is v10 works, tested both side by side. This applies to both current versions of route 66.

it'll be helpful if people posting results would mention what firmware they're using.. BTW Great Britain latest map (which is about 226mb uncompressed) has the full postcode search. Also this version has less lag then the previous version.

works fine for me. gps needs a few minutes to work at start of R66.

i've installed the orig. 545er version with DACH maps. then i've deinstalled via handy the R66 software cause i've got allways certificat error. then i installed the new signed sis file.

input line still sucks, it still doesn't stay on "fastest/truck'" in "route type" and it would be nice to be able to turn the internal gps receiver off. apart from that it works just fine and very fast on 6110 - even while the fone is in full use: music, telefone and sms. unlike on the N91 where these things don't work together very well.

the navigator that comes with the 6110 is very close to it, but even better: from the above issues, the input line has been fixed. also very fast and rock solid. but noone seems to have any cracked maps :(

You cant add any custom POI (including radars) in Route66.

Neither can I.. the latest version of R66 is less buggy and does not crash when dealing with these blackspots in the Australia.PRM. However, the problem is still there unfortunately.. :(

on n95 the way to turn off the internal gps is to enable bt gps in the settings since its first on a list followed by a-gps then internal then network it is the first to be used therefore internal never gets triggered.

now my beef is with firmware. its stupid that on a-gps we are forced to use only network connection and not wifi cause it would work just the same if not even faster and free. choice is the keyword.

regarding fastest-track works fine i my n95 if set in settings, if its chosen during route planning the selection is temporary.

one more change i noted from previous version is that they had made some changes to calculation logic. previously all gps software maps, tomtom and route when calculating my route home namely coming by highway northbound always asked me to exit one street before the logically fastest one even though that next exit is clearly marked on the map and the street is marked as same type of road as one suggested.
in testing this i was always forcing the soft to recalculate route (which tomtom and route did very good but maps failed utterly skipping the next exit entirely and suggesting roundabout of some 3-4 kilometres).
today route for the first time did their job well and even though it still stutters i am very happy it did something correct.

still waiting for tomtom and maps to make the same showing in the future updates

as for navigator in 6110. its route mobile8 which is not even announced let alone supported on the official website

if some can extract the app from 6110and post it im sure the crackers will get right to it and all maps would be usable just as in this version here. and we would all be happier for it hehe.

*correction fastest-truck still doesnt stick as you said.

unfortunately only croatia exists in eastern europe map. as for the others route66 never bothered to include them not even the major routes. sorry the only other option is tomtom eastern europe (even that only major roads, sometime you may end up in the middle of the field) and bt gps combination.

cant realy blame the developers since its ultimately countries themselves that provide detailed (or not) maps that navtec then licences to them for use.

For me BinPDA-version works better, than the Longdike-version. Longdike crashes sometimes my phone ...

You probably did not sign the file, or signed it incorrectly.

Install one and test it.
Should work :)
Now I just sit and wait for signing so I can get my app going

you may need to update your firmware to 12.. don't think this works with 11.
I've tried with 2 different phones both with version 11 and it didn't detect the internal receiver.

no in app folder create a map folder most in system app oder data app route 66

If you install on internal drive, you must copy the folder system/apps/Route66/speech to the external drive, same position. At least that's how it works on the non-BiNPDA patch running on N95.

hi got it working first time, tried route66 bout 2 or 3 times now so far its not looking good, its all over the place hasnt given me a single right direction. didnt have this problem with the older version gonna update my firm v c if that helps.

how do you check the date of your maps? do you simply right click on the map and check the date? oh and some1 mentioned a new tread being started on maps any chance of a link or whats the name of the thread?

Works fine with my N73, but I'm using another map, for Eastern Europe, not the one from the first page, the one that has 181MB. I'm using another map, found here, on iPmart, that has only 51MB.
Does any one have any ideea why that map, doesn't work? If I understood correctly, the Eastern Europe map, from the first page is from 2007??

i've already installed that signed binpda version on my 6110 navig, everything was fine installation fine, maps working, i've put activation key 16 digits and it was fine.then i run r66 and map work fine but problem is all the time NO GPS, i installed SIGNED version, when i check gps status in my nokia menu it shows sattelite after 10-20sec but in r66 even after 5-10 min still NO GPS, whats the problem???

You have to ask those guys to sign the application for you, then U have to install the signed version. After installing the signed version, put the map u desire in e:\system\apps\route66\maps, than start the application.

No. You Cant. You must sign version for N95 (for its location API).

i´m waiting for tomtom version who works with the internal.

Which version of route66 are you using? because i'm using v7.3.545 and it doesn't crash anymore.

I've got a problem, I install route 66 v7.3.545 cracked on my N95, but when I launch tue app, I've got NO GPS but when I use internal GPS it works.
Is this version of route 66 work really with internal N95 GPS?

yes. the unsigned version works with the n95. sometimes it takes a few minutes until r66 finds his gps signal. this is by design. u most activate internal gps on your handy and disable bluetoth.

No, it doesn't work. I tried a few days ago. If you can provide a link to download it'll be ok. Maybe my version was not 7.3 545 ( in file name appeared 7.3.545).
And how can it works if it's not a signed version :D ?

But Route66 Mobile v7.3.545 needs nearly one minute to start... with v7.3.468 a few seconds... does someone know why?

Hmmm Route66 on my N95 starts pretty fast but then just sits at like a yellow screen like the maps are blank and says No GPS! is there any procedure to get it working on N95?

Its all signed and everything so thats not the problem.

everything works perfectly on my N95, it takes 30seconds to start.

Of course but if you want to use navigation option you need an external gps receiver.

no no,i used the imei from the n95 phone.
I have made it unbranded now with nemesis,updated the firware to the latest version now.
Still limited by certificate error,i am running out of options now :cry:
I tryed the binpda version,the version on the first page on this topic,none of these i am getting to work.
If i use the unsigned version,forgot which one,it installs,it works,but no gps error.
So i realy need the version from the first page,also tryed that 1 and signed it with imei from the n95 (for internal gps)

Than it might be that the cert you made for N95 has some options missing...
Create a new cert...
And select all 13options which you get in the Dev Request cert tool...

For those like me with problems about voice in navigation....
The first time i signed the app in the first post of this thread: in my n95 there was allright but it did not speak.
Then I have found this app and now I am assisted also by voice !!!

Signed this myself following the sign guide and got the certificate ect when it came to installing the phone it just says.

Certificate may not be yet be valid or phones date maybe incorrect.

Well atleast it aint saying certificate error as i did sign it, the other thing was i did play around with the date put it a year back or 2 says same message as above and tried putting it a year forward one and 2 years it says certificate expired or invalid.
What do i do now i have unbranded the phone and on version v12.0.013 and is unlocked to all networks any ideas anyone.

Also is thioer a tutorial on route 66 installation on phone other than signing.

I can tell you i got the same Problem as you and was 3 hours with that till i found a solution in an other Board. I also have the N95 with the firmware .013

You have to made a Hard Reset of your Phone and change again all Certifikate Options in your System and in the Programm manager to Off and try again then you will be able to install it. Don't forget to backup your Phone before with PC Suite it was no problem about 5 minutes work. I also Formated the SD Card in the Phone.
And than i copy the signed file to the phone started it from here and installation went fine (don't wonder it's taking long time) i thought my phone was freezed but it wasn't . You can do Hardreset with *#7370# after that you need a code 12345 good luck

Since a couple of weeks I have a nokia 6110 Navigator.

Currently only the Benelux map is installed and working on the phone. I downloaded the DACH Map, and I would like to know how I can install this to the phone. Can anyone explain this to me/ or point out where I can find somenthing about this?
I already tried putting the map on the phone using nokia map manager, but it seems that it does not recognise the map....
I found that the standard map is a benelux.MAP file, while the DACH is a DACH.PRM file. Is route66 able to work with that file?

You are using the 6110 internal navigator (that is in practice R66 mobile 8).

Maps are different format, nothing can be done about this.

You can easily find additional maps in the correct format for 6110 available for download, but you can't use them unless you crack the main application.

And doing this is not easy since it's not available as a standalone application and it's installed in the phone memory :(

Yeah...i managed to install to software, and can it did work. However there is no way for me to test it out cos I do not have any Singapore maps installed in my N80.

Anyone from Singapore got any Singapore maps running wif this software can post a link to share?

Works "fine" in my 6120C but I prefer using TomTom 6.02, more stable and mainly, fresh screen rate and accurate much better than this!

This application became recently very popular because it works with N95 internal GPS receiver (TT doesn't :().

If you don't own a N95 there is no particular reason to use this program (TT is superior in many aspects).

R66 uses Navteq maps that some people prefers, but you can find Navteq maps also for TT.
Also even if in general TT maps are more updated and they cover more Countries, there are a few exceptions like Greece..

Yes, maps are a little better in some cases - now i can see it (after few days testing), but the whole interface is horrible to me after TT.
Anyway I dont have N95, so I'll be staying on TT :)

For N95.
After 1 hour of carefully reading everything, i downloaded the app, signed it and installed it to the phone. Than I copied the maps into the directory from the instructions. Also the speech folder was there and i did not have to move it. (i installed everything to the memory card).
If you see the message: No gps be patient the first fix may take up to 10 minutes or more. The next one around 1 minute.
It did not ask me for any license key. The phone is brand new just got it and this was one of the first apps I installed.
In the morning i will test in the car to compare it to the car's gps.
Just to recap:
1. Take the the time to read everything, do your homework if you really want this app.
2. Learn how to sign apps here: http://www.ipmart-forum.com/showthread.php?t=146714
3. Download the 3 archives of this app
4. Sign this application
5. Install it to your phone and do not open it
6. Make a folder with MAPS in system/apps/ROUTE66/maps and copy there your maps.
7. Now you can start the application. Be patient the first time you open it will discover the gps in about 10 minutes.

These are the magic steps that are working. Be patient and follow them.

One more thing if some of you don't have installed X plore in the phone (it's an app used to copy the maps in our case) you can do this:
a) install route 66 on your phone sd card
b) remove the sd card from your phone and using the adapter insert it in your laptop/card reader
c) Open my computer - go to Tools - Folder Options - View - hidden files and folders - click on show hidden files and folders - apply and finally OK
d) make a folder on your desktop and name it maps. Put inside the route 66 maps.
e) Go now in my computer and than to your sd card and and PASTE the folder in: system/apps/ROUTE66/

In the end it is going to look like this system/apps/ROUTE66/MAPS. And your maps will be inside.
If you took the time to read my post you will be able to install this application by your own without our help :D.
