saad3000 - No, its not normal. What exactly dictionary you try to register and got problems? Are you use SlovoEd engine supplied with this reliase or got it from other source?
Keep in mind, SlovoEd was tested in full on N95. I think N73 may have problems.

GE-EN, GE-ES, GE-IT works fine on my N73.

In 'Czech to' archive are Dutch dictionaries instead of Czech ... and 'Dutch to' archive is correct, there are dutch dictionaries ... but where are Czech dictionaries ? :(

I'm italian, so I download the "engine", "italian_to", "italian sound module", "English sound module" and "French sound module"...

installed engine... ok
installed italian-english-italian... ok, serial... ok
installed italian-french-italian... ok, serial... ok

installed english and french sound modules... ok, serial not ok...
when I input the serial it says "please install the dict that you had buy"... the sound module works already but in the option list I had always the voices "register" and if I go to the information I read "the sound module is not registered"

you must install TALKING DELUXE English from Epocware (i have without Sound modules and working great) , but not install other Book (Compact or Basic)!

max68 - You dont need to use serial numbers to register sound modules.
Just use standart serial numbers provided in 'italian_to' package. One serial number will register both, dictionary and sound module.

bmw320d - I highly recommend you to download mine archive 'english_to' and to use supplied serial numbers inside the archive. It may sounds crazy, but some dictionaries at the original web site are buggy and corrupted. Wont be compatible with serial numbers they provide as well :)

Global_moderator - Put the .prc dictionaries into E:\SlovoEd\Dicts\ (instead of resource\apps\slovoeddicts). Put voice .prc file into the same directory as well. Pay more attention to the begining of my post. There are all neccessary instructions were provided :)

By the way, i figured that we need to isntall the files which r on rapidshare (which I eventually mananged to download after much frustration) and then your serials work. If files are taken from official site, then serials don't work..didn't work for me that is.

hahaha. thanks for the nice compliment. but in fairness to wrznet, he did upload a rocking collection of dicts with FIVE sound modules in different languages. i can't beat that. ;)

There's nothing wrong with the sound module. as jeanius says, this is a fantastic dict. Better than what I've seen so far. But it could do with a bigger range of sound module, much like the talking dic. that jeanius upload. Than it will be perfect. But I have much to thank U for this app wrznet ... :)

Hi guys! Actually I'm on Erasmus Program (2nd day) in danmark, I need the ita-eng dictionary! I've already installed an old version (without serial...).
I've red about Wrznet instruction but I don't find in which directory I had to put the .prc file!
He said: "manually move the *.prc dictionary files into E:\SlovoEd\Dicts\ directory"
I have already installed the dictionary engine but 'maybe' I don't have this directory.
I see this folders from the Phone browser :
Nokia E65 -> Phone memory -> Data -> Document, Images, Installs, Others, etc...
Where I had to put this file? I don't find any Slovoed folder, I've already tried to create it without success. Please guys help me, I need it so much!

Bad bad wrznet, next time for fone rookie I think you should put: "create a folder SlovoEd\Dicts\ on ur memory card and move the .prc files to that" ;)

BTW: ya install the Slovoed engine on phone or on memory card ? If on phone memory, try to uninstall it and reinstall it on MEMORY CARD!

Have you used CAPITAL letters and the - sign correctly?

Bros, to all who have serial problem. If you have try to install using wrznet upload and having problem, I suggest you download the module from slovoed site and use serial from wrznet. Install it at my mate N73 and working. He also having same problem. But I install on my N73 ME using wrznet upload with no problem. Dont ask me why...

can someone upload english to ... to another host ,rapidshare gets stuck on 99%..

Nice post but got a problem:

Installed En-Spa-En - Registered, says OK, going in the ABOUT says still UNREGISTERED and the REGISTER menu is still there.

the same for It-Spa-It and Spa-Rus.

Meanwhile for SPA-SPA registration is ok, going in the menu REGISTER does not compare. But if i close slovoed and reopen it, going in the menu again it now says UNREGISTERED and the REGISTER voice is there...


EDIT: Works fine now, i had to delete the folder in resource/apps that has been installed with the previous version of slovoed.

I downloaded the English Sound module from this thread but when i enter the serial attached, it says that I have to install the dictionary I bought...
The SlovoEd core software is the one from the official site, and I also installed the sound module from the official site, and when it didn't work I downloaded this and replaced the old file in SlovoED/dictionaries...

Sorry for my poor english but you don't understand me well.
I've inserted the dictionary serial only after having installed both dictionary and voice modules and all work on n73.
The only problem is that the program say that registration is ok but the "menu voice" "register" is still active in one or more dictionary.
for example I register french and all is ok (the register menu wasn't visible anymore) after i register english dictionary and all is ok (the register menu wasn't visible anymore), when, after i reopen the french one the register voice is visible, but all work including voice module.

Yeah it does work On N95 8gb, if u can't find the folder on E drive, then create the folder by urself and copy all dicts there. it shud work fine. hope that helps.

I have a problem when I want to run the slovoed dictionary engine on my Nokia N80. The installation works perfectly. I can see the SlovoEd symbol in the menu. But when I want to open the programm, it shows the text "öffnen"(open) and closes automatically, 1 second after that.

I uninstalled the file, installed it again. Installed it on the phone, on the memory card... but I can't get it started. What else can I do? Did anyone have the same problem?

Read instructions on the first page. Its possible you made an error somewhere.
Can be thousands of things why this may happiens. Eg. low memory, some bad coded preinstalled program into memory, not compatibility with N80 and so on....

You have some specific problem. I dont think this is the problem with SlovoEd, but most likely your Phone.
I guess soft reset should help. Other guys reported its works on N80.

So as far as I understand it, there is still no crack available for SlovoEd engine 3.0, right?

I know this is for SlovoED 2.3.3... but I think the latest for S60v3 is 3.1... anyone got that with a keygen or serial list?

Plz help me, i am not understanding how to install all of this stuff, i got all of the files needed like the arabic-english dictionary from original site, i got the serials fron the rapidshare link. But my problem is that im trying to istall it on my Nokia E65, i am having trouble installing it to the 'SlovoEd' folder i created in the memory card.

For those who are having problem with rapidshare, DO THIS:-
(I have successfully installed + working in my N82 using this method)

1. Download dictionaries + sound files you want from OFFICIAL site.
2. CREATE folder in memory card e:\slovoEd\Dicts
3. Extract the sis file (using tools like sisware or other sis extractor) for dictionaries only
4. After extracting copy all the *.prc files to folder created in (2)
5. Install sound files as per normal in the phone selecting MEMORY CARD as location
6. Install the Dictionary engine found on first page of this thread
7. Start slovoEd and register using reg keys (pm someone for the keys if you dont have)

I downloaded the "Talking SlovoEd Deluxe English explanatory dictionary for S60 3rd Edition" but where is the sound module? There are two .prc files one is around 25mb and the other is 2kb. Is the small file is sound module? if not, then where is it? I enter the serial # and it says wrong registration code. I carefully entered the # several times but the result is same. BTW, dictionary is working fine without registration, but I want to register it and I need sound module as well. Please help me. Thanks in advance.

P.S. I am using Nokia N-82 phone

The sound files is found on the website separately. It should be about 30Mb size.

The main dict contains 2 prc files. The second set of 4 digits of the reg key should match the file name of the smaller sized prc file.

Make sure you use the dictionary engine .sis in this thread and not version 3 in the website.

i have slovoEd installed, and everything is worked perfectly.

But sometimes i need few days just to download some module from rapidshare.

Is it possible to download french sound module from official site (33.6MB version) and use it with serial that this site provided for it? And if its possible, can someone give me that serial on PM because i dont have this rapidshare zipped module.

no need to wait for rapidshare just switch off your modem wait for 2 minutes and restart and ur rapidshare again working enjoy

For all those guys who have problems registering SlovoEd 2.3.3 , please read the following carefully :
I downloaded Talking SlovoEd Deluxe explainatory from the official website(epocware.com) and registered it successfully .
1)Understand that its the SlovoEd Engine Dictionary which recognises the serial number. So, please download and install the Engine Dictionary provided as an attachment on the first page of this thread.(Do not install/Uninstall any upgraded version of the SlovoED Engine dictionary.)
2)Then install all the files in the programme folder that u receive inside the zip file downloaded from the official website( be it paragon or epocware ),except the Engine dictionary.
3)Now you need to registerthe dictionary. I got the serial here : ( for Eng to Eng only)

5)Rest of the serials are provided in the zip archives(rapidshare links on the first page of this thread)

why it works not with my N95 ???

i had new slovoed on my phone but only unregistred(demo) , so i uninstall the engine and evrything , and installed the 2.3.3 from here

than i copy the files in "dicts"

and NOTHING happens when i click on "slovoEd" on my phone

Normally, you dont need to use serial numbers to register Voice dictionaries, because the supplied keys are already allowing you to use voice modules.
This is not the case. Supplied keys only can register dictionary files but NOT the SOUND module. See pictures ... sound module st6ill remains unregistered and give annoying beep ....

Maybe this case can be solved: in part of sr nr "1A0C" what you used - letter O or number 0?
Cant remember witch it was (i think it are number) but in my phone sound works and sr nr source are same.

I instal aplications
Version 2.3 and make E:\SlovoEd\Dicts\ directory,and when I run program its start but turn of immeditly

Version 3.0 work ok,but I don't have keys for Serbian-English-Serbian

Does anyone have a key for this version

I had that problem too. I was able to register my eng-hun dictionary, but not the english sound module. What you can do, and this is what I did too, that I included the eng-eng "english explanatory" dictionary, then I registered that successful with the included serial number, and that was it. The english sound (voice) module was automatically registered, and I didn`t even type in its serial number.Now when I open the app, and press the option, there is no "register dictionary" at all.:wink!:

hey guys. i just installed the slovoed dictionary on my nokia e66. after that i wanted to paste the dictionary files in the slovoed directory but there is no slovoed directory. i searched the whole phone withe the y-browser with no success. any ideas? thanks

My problem: It's not possible for me, to use the language-direction russian--> german, because on my phone there is only installed german fonts. It's not possible for me, to input a certain word in russian, because I can not input the russian letters.
So, is there a trick or something, to change the installed font?

hey guys. i just installed the slovoed dictionary on my nokia e66. after that i wanted to paste the dictionary files in the slovoed directory but there is no slovoed directory. i searched the whole phone withe the y-browser with no success. any ideas? thanks

I figured out the solution. It's not a problem actually , you just have to create the folders (e:\Slovoed\Dicts\) yourself and then copy the .prc files you need.

listen carefully;
1-install the engine first
2- go to the memory section you installed the app(E/mass memory) ,(F/memory card)on which you installed the ENGINE.
3-go to:E or F/resource/app/now create a folder:slovoeddicts(be careful with the spelling),and past your dictionary PRC there.

you can't do it on the phone ,it's impossible.(unless it's hacked,i guess).
do it on your computer:
1-if you have card(ram)reader,then connect it and the rest is easy.
2-if you have pc suite,then connect your phne to the computer and choose MASS STORAGE.then the rest is again

just check how many registered dics you have in the INFO option of the dic.
maybe those 2 are already registered.
pls tell me exactly what happened.besides,check the version too:)
p.s. you know that in order to extract the dic and get PRC,you need SISWARE.do you have it?did you extract them with this software on the computer?
just give me the exact names of the dics you have with their versions.

I search all menus but I did not find anything about installed dictionaries.
Application version is 2.3.3 downloaded from this topic.
For some reason menus are in greek, not english. I changes phone language in english but once again the menus were not english. Beside that, I searched all the menus, but I found nothing.

I extracted dictionaries on the computer. Why use 'sisware'? (what is that?).
I had to made all the process on computer because of phone restrictions(no new folder creation, no access to copy-paste file on resource folder etc)

are the dictionaries I copied to memory card.

I hope you can help me to find a solution to use slovoed with more dictionaries.

Would not be that much trouble, if you simply extract the files using any sis explorer and put the files there, and then install only the dictionary engine, I did this with Msdic dictionaries, and it worked.. ;)

Hi. Well for me its working in my N96 v12.043 and for Spanish-Spanish u have to use the serial in Talking SlovoEd Deluxe Spanish explanatory dictionary for S60 3rd Edition (The First One)

this one gives you more derivative,etymology,the part of speech,...but few examples.
MSDict has fewer words with more examples.
now it's up to you bro.

I have the same problem as some users have already posted. (my phone N95-8gb)

I installed the application and put the (dutch to...) .prc files into E:\slovoed\dicts. Now, the problem is that when I open the application either it just doen'st start up either it starts up by saying "opening" but then shuts by itself after a couple of seconds

Several members with different phones have posted the same problem, but no one gave an answer on this question.

As a test, I have installed Slovoed V3.10 and that version starts up perfectly. But the problem is that version 3.10 is not cracked yet.

Can someone please help me (and the other members with the same problem) with ideas to solve this problem?

I installed Fr - GE - Fr Dictionary and also french sound - registration OK, program works, but how to hear speech??
copied the sound .pcr file to E:\SlovoEd\Dicts as I did it with the other files.
But nowhere anything mentioned from sound???

YOU HAVE ALSO TO INSTALL THE SO CALLED "EXPLANATORY DICTIONARY" OF THE LANGUAGE YOU WANT THE SOUND MODULE OF...(for example you wish to register the French Sound Module: you install also te french-french explanatory dictinary, then you register it with the serial provided inside French_to).... REGISTER WITH THE SERIAL PROVIDED AND THAT'S OK....BOTH DICTIONARIES REGISTERED!!!!:excited:

i think you cannot use the 3.x version of the engine...just install the 2.3.3 and check you have done all the steps correctly.
