If you install the Mapsource on your PC, you can select just Norway from CNE and send it to your device. But if you wait some minutes i will post the map. :D:

You have to use keygen from jetmouse to generate the unlock code. But the question you make it was asked many time, you will have to do a little research by your self. Just type "garmin" in the search box and you will find lot of topics about how to unlock maps. We cannot answer over and over again at the same question.

here's what you have to do. pls follow every steps.
1. go to website h**p://www.mapking.com/en/MapKingDowloadPageEng2.htm.
2. you have to key in you email address in order for you to go to the downloads.
3. scroll down and select mapking g10(pocket pc version). download and install it to your device.
4. next, you have to Download MapKing Map-Data. select the cities that you would to downlod and install it to your device.(step2 in the website)
5. finally you have to copy and paste this c***k file to your device in the folder : \internal storage\Program Files\MapAsia\MapKingG10

Sorry, TomTom stopped developing the software for symbian from 2006, so, i advice you to install Garmin or Sygic, for them there is updated maps of Malaysia. If you have a symbian phone, you have to forget about it for now.

My question is, what would happen if I want to add the NT North Europe 2009? Will it erase the North American, will it work together or what? Can I have both US and European maps on it?

Nuvi devices accept on sd card only one name for map: gmapsupp
On device hard you can have more maps with the following names:
gmapbmap (basemap)
gmapprom
gmapprom1
gmapsupp
gmapoem
So, rename one of your maps and you can have it both of them.

You won't find a new map for your symbian tomtom, hell, you won't find a newer version of tomtom for symbian.... tomtom didn't made one from more than two years...

Why, the map is locked ? I don't have it.
If you want to find your MapID, install it first into the MapSource, open regedit and browse for one of the following keys:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Garmin\Mapsource\Famil ies\<YOUR MAP>]
or
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Garmin\Mapsource\Produ ct\<YOUR MAP>]

and check the "ID" REG_BINARY. That is your MapID (in HEX). You have to convert it from HEX to decimal (do not forget to reverse the byte order when coverting)

Put the folder in (your PC) C/Garmin and run "add to the registry". That's all. After this you will find it in mapsource.

As i said earlier, those maps where merged in mapsource in one image format. You can do it too if you have mapsource installed on your PC. A GPS use the internet for a fast fix to the satellites but also uses a small mount of traffic data when you start Garmin.

When i look at the files, i have only two files ; gmapbmap.img (100Mo) and gmapprom.img (1600 Mo). I have no informations on how to install them.
I copied the two files in the Garmin folder.

When looking for an address, the software tell me to use detailed maps, so the downloaded maps are not recognised into Garmin software.

What do i have to let the maps be used with Garmin XT 5 please ?

Gmapbmap is the basemap, but if it has 100 i don't think it will work with Garmin XT. It should has about 10 MB. The second one is OK, but did you unlocked? Tray to read some posts back, there is a link to a tutorial about how to install. read it.

There isn't one, just Eastern Europe and Roumania has just two cities at street level, Bucharest and Timisoara. Just major roads for the rest of the country. Try using Garmin or Sygic.

You asked before but sorry, the answer is still "there isn't one" Why don't you change the navigation system? I like TomTom but i don't use it because it hasn't map for my country. I think a good map is very important.
