Are there many difference USA maps available for Sygic 7.6, because the one i am using, the US_Can_Mex for the Sygic 7.60.731 is not very detailed, especially on small towns, sometimes they only have the mainstreet only, while old tomtom 6 maps have more streets.

Can someone clarify this ?

hi, i hope this is the correct section to ask question map-related :)

My question is, is there anyway we can extract the whole POI (point of interest/landmark) from nokiamap (or garmin map, or tomtom, or others) automatically into collection of .lmx files,including those that has been pre-included on the map, and street name if possible.

I have made this VB program that can help me to edit .lmx with ease. The idea is: MANY POI at Indonesian maps are inaccurate and lacking description. and i just want to create my own set of 'corrected' POI.

I aprreciate any kind of help and thank you very much in advance.

Because you are new in Garmin busines. It's unlocked, you just have to copy to garmin folder. It has France, and it's about 1.55 GB.

Well, it doesn't work because you did something wrong. It works for thousands of people and doesn't work for you. Think about it. Read more about it. I give you the map and the software, but i cannot install it my self in your phone.

You got it all wrong. The map works with version 7.60. The new map probably won't. You asked for a map witch works with v7.60. That's the one.

Do you think i have to give you anything? No, i am not. I help because i want. You don't even know what you want. You ask for Israel map for v7.60 witch i give you the link. The new map for Israel won't work with v7.7. So, if you don't know what you want, don't ask and keep your pissed of remarks for your self. Repp- added of course.

Hi , anyone willing to help me with a map just for France, taken from the CityNavigator Europe 2009 suite. I'm going there next week, and downloading the whole navigator package will most propably take me longer that the actaul trip to France.
Any help will be greatly appreciated, as my French is not so good, and i do not want to get lost there!
A Mapsource version will be even better!!

Your only option is Sygic 7.71 but there isn't israel map for this version
And older versions of sygic are not supporting nokia 5800

have a 5800 nokia.ive installed the 5.00.40 version with the unlocked map of greece and cyprus!if i want to install the Garmin Europe NT 2009.11 (UPDATE!) Q3/08 Unlocked is it updated???do i have to delete the one i already installed??if they are both inside the memory card and i choose a different name eg gmapsup2.img for the map of europe will it be a problem???i just drag and drop it??the language i use is greek!!isnt there an option to choose just a specific country?and last how do i find just a specific map eg uk?do i use the GMapTool???

Hi there,
Had a problem installing the route 66 maps. Please help it says that the streets not digitised. I did install the U.k and Ireland maps to the root of the memory card but it only shows the world maps but never the U.k routes and streets. tried a a lot of things but no hope. Please help already got my application signed and installed but never can activate the maps, shows a lock on the u.k map.

You have to forget about it until Suncart RO will sell the map to Teleatlas and i don't think it will happen any time soon, now they are competitors now, McGuider versus Traffic GPS.
If you want map of RO, stick wit v 7.60 Traffic GPS (made by Allview RO)

I downloaded "elfred" from the garmin site and placed it in the "voice" folder.

but going to settings -> audio, I could not find it among the choices.

Well, I will be traveling to Sweden in a couple of weeks time. So, I need you to guide me a little in this matter. Currently, I'm in Pakistan and using GMobile XT. I've got no issues with it. How about Garmin map(s) of Sweden? Are they good to use? Or is there even a better a choice? Please, guide me...
I'll have no issue in switching to any other navigational system, provided it is better than GMobile XT.

i request the forum mods and admin to make a seperate thread for gps maps and softwares for s60v5.. as the maps listed here dont tell which wuld work on 5800xm and can create problems fr users who have little knowledge..thanks

Just go with Garmin XT, it has full coverage for Sweden, look at garmin website.
Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden

Can anyone tell is it new "City Navigator India NT 2009" or some old maps that are available on the forum and packed with a new name of " City Navigator India NT 2009"

That is an old map.
Latest maps are City Navigator India NT 2010.10 or 2010.20 (If already available...). Do some searches here... Search is your best help! ;)
And... while you're at it...why not improve your reputation? ;)

I would need Garmin maps of Spain (actually I would need island but it's probably all there).

I tried search and I found some on 1st post but links are broken and that on page 55 has no maps. I would really appreciate if someone could help me!

What "parts" of spain (islands? All Spain?) do you want/need?
I can upload it so you can download. They will be from Garmin City Navigator Europe 2010.10 NT (gmapsupp.img format)
