Wil be a mistake if Nokia don´t launch this games in N70, 6680 because these have a big basis!!! This was a mistake of Ngage 1.0!!!!

If you buy a Ps3 game, you can play it on Ps2.
Both are PlayStations, but not the same.

Ngage/Qd and the NG2.0 are Ngages too, but there is a HUGE difference!

yah i understand what you said.... but since they haven't annouced a ngage device... just a platform that compatible to higher phone models.... and since it is not a device, at least those games should be played on n-gage devices..

take note that before, some nokia symbian phone cant run n-gage game perfectly because it is exclusive to n-gage device, unless someone who is a very intelligent homo sapiens can fix or mod the game...

and now, new n-gage games can be played by higher model non-ngage devices and can't play on its own ngage devices...

imagine its been a long year to wating some games come up for my qd...

yay thats a big news, i am a hardcore ngager and following these all news from the very first date, at last our wish is going to come true.

Till to date N81 Rocks hope we get more models with dedicated gaming keys + TV OUT + 3D accelaration.

it is just a biggening guys there will be more device which support next gen.

i agree with you. i never thought that NOKIA would do such a thing..
and for all those who says that N-Gage/QD phones are crap, should think about the time and technology when these two wonderful pones were released. the most important fact is that even today people tends to compare them with new gen phones..
the N-Gage was a marvel itself when launched...
what nokia did was not correct, well ok they want to market new product.. fine but they shouldn't have shown such injustice to the original N-Gage users..

there are many people who ridicule me for using th QD but so far i have only said to them that i am proud that i use QD... may be many of you won't agree with me.. still i think QD is a good stable strong phone...

N81 does not have a dedicated 3D processor chip like the N95 or N93.

N82? No word on it being able to play high-def games from the NG 2??

For me Ngage 2.0 is a disapointment. Many java games play better than the asphalt 3 game. Fifa 07 was out as a sisx file before and nothing has changed. I can't imagine that nGage is going to be any fun at all.

I've played on many games using my n70, and some games have fixes for them so they display colours and that properly (i know WWP didn't have the right colours, and they was suppose to be a fix for it...)

I got a n-gage and i think its the best phone for playing the games on - Since it was made for it, N70 is a real pain playing on them, despite how well the games run :P

i saw some videos from youtube about n-gage 2.0 games and the compatible phones... just to be honest to you all , not all compatible phone what nokia have doesnt look like a gaming phone... compare the design of the classic and the qd phone is just like the gameboy , psp, or other classic handheld games that its not difficult to controll the games... imagine how will you control the games like a fighting game if the phone is designed suited for one hand phone.... its difficult like using the 2,4,6,8 or the direction keys above in the number buttons and five and the other numbers as the punch or shoot button... maybe both of your hand got difficult in placing and playing the game... isn't it....

unlike the classic and the qd,,, it is designed for two hand which very easy to play games...

many of these Next gen games are different from last generation NG and QD,they're just simplistic symbian games with short gameplay hours,less content,very simple menu and presentation,without multiplayer mode..unlike last gen games which offers more than 10 hours of gameplay and bluetooth multiplayer (most of them,especially FPS,action & RPG games)...take a look at Midnight Pool 3D...WTF is that,the gfx isn't even close to the PC version and it looks like the older sis version released last year.And Sims 2 Pets look like crap it's kinda port of BREW version,Fifa 08's character models looks blocky and pretty bad even Real Football 2008 looks better.Asphalt 3 is very simple much like symbian version of Asphalt 2,I think it's not the sequel for NG version of Asphalt 2 which has more than 40 vehicles and customizations,Asphalt 3 will only have 12,it's not even half of the amount and there is no bluetooth multiplayer..and Dogz,what the hell it looks like 3D java version...that Dirk Spanner game looks like sh*t,even java can handle that gfx..So far only System Rush Evolution and ONE Who's Next which looks promising and offers hours of gameplay..Star Wars looks great too,but it's much like old Resident Evil games,it uses fixed camera view and pre-rendered background,only the characters and some objects are in 3D...I hope Capcom and SquareEnix will do something for Nokia..

Bad news : Star Wars isn't going to be an action game,the player can't control the character and it moves automatically,the player will just press the numerical pads in correct order to use the force...So it's just like DDR....crap..

All we can do is guess n waiting what's the next Ngage platform.But Nokia realease that the next N gage game platform can play on N81,N95,N73.if that's true news,Other s60v3 phones could play the games based on NGAGE 2.0 platform.I think it's silly that N73 could play N gage game based on development of Nokia.coz it hasnt dedicated button.N95 n N81 are make a sense coz they have dedicated buttons.at least,it's a really big mistake if the Next N gage games,also named NG 2.0 games couldnt play on N gage classic or QD,coz the really game phones are them.as I say,All we can do are waiting for good news from Nokia n hoping may Nokia release N gage games that playable on different symbian phones

N80 is not compatible with N-Gage, or the other way round. Check the n-gage.com site.

Yes it's true but I think and I hope that NG 2.0 will start in this year yet (or in first week of New Year example for N95 too :)

This app is preinstalled on N95-8gb... If you have N95 just update your firmware using pc-suit and you will get ngage 2.0 also. As far as I know togethet with demo versions of Fifa and Asphalt 3.

Hello everyone, i updated my friends N95 with the latest firmware, and there was infact a n gage preview, with 2 demos, fifa and asphalt 3, all these games you can find on ipmart, and they differs not from these demos. BTW its not ngage 2.0 but a preview, nothing more, nothing less, when the real thing comes out, you can downl,oad it for free via the ngage site.

N-Gage 2.0 game cant be play with the 1.0 generation device.... it got soo many differences. the programming of the software is also different...

so dont put so much hope in it.

N95 n N81 are make a sense coz they have dedicated buttons.
now u are being silly,Nokia n95 doesnt have dedicated gaming button.It only have multimedia buttons which can only be used for multimedia purposes. ONLY nokia n81 has 2 dedicated gaming buttons. pls get your facts correct next time.cheers!!! ^_^

if u have older version than v20.0.015 than u have to update ur version as site says nd after updating firmware u get n-gage pre installed (with orange logo) but its a demo of n-gage app nd it tells u to download the full application either from

I got one of the free 120,000 licences for the full version of Fifa 08 that Nokia have given away. I have an N82, and graphically I was very impressed. Asphalt 3 for N Gage is just the same as the 3D symbian OS9.2 version. Bear in mind Asphalt 3 for N Gage costs £8 in the UK, and I can buy the sisx version from Gameloft for only £3 and both games look and play the same. It makes me wonder if N Gage 2 is more about combatting mobile game piracy/increasing revenue, kind of like what iTunes etc do for music by adding DRM and restricting rights etc

I'm sorry, but i can't found anything to down load Ngage App 2.0 for my N73 ME, any1 can share it for me!
