I have a very simple question related to the Blackberry 8820 which I am thinking of buying. I currently have the Sony Ericsson W950i. I use a GPS receiver with TomTom software installed on the w950i and this works perfectly.

With the Blackberry 8820, I see that "Blackberry maps" comes installed and GPS is built-in, does this mean that the sat nav facilities like the TomTom are built-in OR third party software is available??

Please advise what software is best, if there is nothing built-in.

I think that requires a subscription to use the GPS functionality
