Found this on my travels and thought I'd share it with you. It works with 3rd Edition phones plus a few S40 ones but not sure.

This special trick to boost your phone sound(speaker/headphones). It works with built-in Nokia Music Player.



Here's how to do it:

Music Player>Options>Equaliser>Options>New Preset
Name it as it is below and set it the same as the screenshots.

Setting the equalizer it will make your speaker/headset sound louder. Here's The picture for the settings.


BASS+TREBLE

[Only registered and activated users can see links]

Makes sounds loud and clear!


BASS BOOSTER

[Only registered and activated users can see links]

You may notice distortion using this one but it helps boosts the volume on your phone.

hi all,
recently i bought nokiaN72 mobile . every thing is ok but i am not satisfying with the sound can any body tell me is there is any chance boost the sound by using a good head phones than the one which comes with the set or any sound boosters r there which comes with headphones ? plz help me.

thanks Dansco for the tip. Also you can trick on boosting the loudness if you use your phone speaker by setting your enhancement to Loopset. Settings>Enhancement>Enhancement in use>Loopset. Works for me!

Another (and better) way is to use OggPlay and use its volume boost... Or use CorePlayer with the dual PreAmp and equaliser... :D

The first setting is pretty good. I don't really any good about the second.
