This is to refer to all seniors of PPC section to look in to the matter as this is very technical matter & could lead to adverse implications for the other users...Although there have been other applications to claim overclocking samsung processors but in the end they were prove to be a false claim..

well all I can say is, that I am testing this software for 2 days now and it is working great. I tried benchmarking tool in Coreplayer and PocketPCmark and on both I saw big improvement in performance. Pocket hack master that should also work with Samsung processor did never work for me.

After installing, and I tried to overclock it to 420 mhz, it hanged.
Later when soft reset and turn it on again, it set that it was not closed properly and that it is now set to default settings.
Can't access clockwizard anymore after that. Anyone one knows a solution to this 1? Thanks in advance

Yeah I must ask for a Senior Moderator as well to check this one out. Like said above there has been problems with others types of overclockers and one which made me return my PDA and get it fixed! RX1950 -- so please Seniors, check this out and give us a reply!

Anyone else having this problem and how did you fix it. Basically I just can't run it anymore. I'd hate to have to hard reset my set and do things all over again. Thanks
Seems like everyone is pretty happy using this app so I'd like to try it out properly too... Thanks again

I decided to give this app a go on my htc kaiser TyTN II, but stored this app on my storage card. Since my device uses a Samsung processor anyway, I over-clocked it to 420, it just rebooted and I immediately noticed how quicker my device responds, i.e. boot up time, screen rotation from landscape to portrait, started up tom tom, google maps, audio manager, etc. I was just playing around with heavy apps and it is zippier. But it works for me. I know from experience though when you're over clocking your device, it will drain your battery faster (depending on how much you over clock it). I didn't noticed any memory leaks or bugs as of yet.

I have an Ipaq rx4240, with a Samsung SC32442 default clock speed is 400mhz.
Using the latest version of this application (60kb exe) I am able to, with complete stability overclock my processor to 550mhz!!!
the performance increase is simply astounding!
I can actually comfortably run it at 600mhz, but thats a scary increase. so I dont leave it at that, despite the fact that it seems to work fine.
Coreplayer benchmark statistics :
DEFAULT - 400Mhz
FPS : 33.29
Sample rate : 67079
OC1 - 550Mhz
FPS 43.25
Sample rate : 87064
OC2 - 600Mhz
FPS : 44.87
Sample rate : 88155
Absolutely incredible.
Although far from playable, using the latest dosbox, and the mechwarrior 2 demo. at 550mhz, the demo runs at 2-3 frames per second. thats friggin awesome

No, I have not. Interestingly though, the first screen illustrates my options to choose the device I'm over clocking. As you can see, even though I my Kaiser has a Samsung Processor, the Kaiser's Samsung Processor is not listed, which is (MSM7200-400MHz). So I went ahead a choose the closest, which is the second option from the top and the second screen you see appears. So according to the application, 420.0 MHz is the max frequency for my device. So I choose the "Yes, please" option, and my device automatically resets/reboots. Do I see a quicker responding device .... hard to tell .... but I do think my device's processor has been increase by that little 20 MHz.

What is the setting for dopod 838 pro? S3C2440 400MHz?
Does it work with dopod 838pro?

Several things with this software.
when you run it for the first time, choose "Yes Please" regardless of whether you want to push past the 420mhz barrier or not.
once the application has opened, click the ADVANCED button.
Now you can click on either the Economy or Performance max numbers (at the top, above the slider) to change the min-max that the slider uses. these two number are what the auto scaler, scales between.
if you restart the PDA, the overclocking will no longer be active, when you open the program again, it will automatically reset the overclock back to the last successful setting.
In other words ROBOSIRIS, you didnt notice any performance increase when your PDA restarted because it wasnt overclocked!
Also, On my device, I cant change the mem devider, its greyed out. dont know why, but it doesnt seem to make much difference, I can still overclock to a rediculous degree.
Theoretically it will work with any device that has a samsung processor. the processor itself if overclockable, but other internal components may not be able to handle the additional speed.
My advice to everyone who asks "will it work?" short answer yes, long answer is you will be able to overclock your samsung to some degree, but it might not be worth it. Just try it, up the speed by 5-10mhz a time
OK, I've pushed my PDA as far as it will go, it runs STABLE at a blistering 650mhz!!, I have a sc32442 processor, default speed of 400Mhz!
For those not mathmatically minded, that an increase of 162.5% I've never seen anything overclock like that.
Using my tried and true test application of DOSBOX+Mech Warrior 2, I am now able to run it at a stable 5 FPS with no frame skip. highly impressive!
Even closer to a portable MW2!!

Hi everybody,
I run the program and from time to time the screen flickers and the luminosity varies. Is there a fix for this?
I'm not interested in overclocking my P550, but I'm interested in reducing proc's speed in order to save battery (I manage to limit the CPU clock at 400 MHz, not 420 MHz). I tested a little, and it seems that the CPU clock doesn't go down under 300 MHz. What settings can be made to slow down the CPU?

anyway to reinstall it? I would like to test this on my device...
