Now that the iphone is available in my country I was initially excited. This is the phone that was suppose to be the revolutionary in the mobile phone world. But now that I've seen it I just couldn't understand what the hype is all about.Surely O2,htc and lots more smartphones were years ahead of a headstart compare to apple.I'm sticking to my dopod 838 pro which have all the features that the iphone have and more.Support for 3g.

Have to agree with you there. Its not 'revolutionary' in any sense, but it is still a stunning phone. Ive sidestepped from an N95 and i'm very happy with my decision. The safari browser is second to none, its the best browser ive ever used on a portable device as is the wifi. Playing video's on it is a pleasure and they look amazing. Third party apps are coming thick and fast now too, with msn messenger being my personal fave. The YouTube app is awesome, the screen and interface are excellent too.

Things i hate are the speaker volume is poor(although supposed to have been fixed in 1.1.1), no bluetooth file transfer, no mms service, most generic headphones dont fit and cant set up hotmail with the email client.

The things that are missing are still expected to be applied to future updates, but for such an expensive and 'revolutionary' phone, should be there anyway. In all though, im very, very happy with the phone.
