Hey folks!

Thought of creating this thread and keep it updated as fresh news comes along.

What I've recently come to know that iPhone already supports 3G and A2DP (confirmed at [Only registered and activated users can see links]), but it will be enabled via the software update once they get a better grip on their battery life.

Come to think of it iPhone could have so many pre-installed hardware which hasn't been mentioned to 'us' consumers.

The latest firmware v1.1.1 also unleashes TV-Out support... you can very well read the specs here
[Only registered and activated users can see links] I don't see any TV-out already mentioned prior to the release of the new firmware.

Seems there's a lot of potential being 'hidden' at the moment. Future updates have a lot to bring in my opinion. MMS, speaker volume and bluetooth file transfer to name a few.

Completely agree! I never knew Bluetooth file-transfer wasn't possible :-( since I never tried this feature, just been busy modding it up.

Yes these functions are available and more.Just waiting on Apple to release them to the public.Word is that Apple will release a new version of the iPhone the end of December early January. But that is speculation.

After is not going to release a new model, it will probably tie up with Telecom companies all over the world for the same model. iPhone already comes with 3G, A2DP and TV-Out support. They are just worried because of the battery life is short. Hence, they are not releasing it in their firmware upgrades.
