Bluetooth in iPhone work only for bluetooth headset, not anything else.

Yes you can use the Plantronics bluetooth headset with iPhone. I use this currently!

I believe most bluetooth headsets or handsfree kits will work with the iphone lbluetooth.

Nothing else works though, no bluetooth HID (keyboards and mouse support) or bluetooth a2dp (stereo headphones) or bluetooth OBEX (usually used for file transfer)


Mabe later firmware revisions of the iphone will support these profiles, considering the iPhone does sport Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR hardware!!!!
