I think this release is for PNA's but it can be also work for PDA's like a charm... (I used it over a year without any problems) The only think is that there is a file called (chinese3) that is very big 16.3 MB and canot be used without it....(it becomes very vert slow).
So it is the same with the v6.100 (build 7970) release in the functionality but bigger size for the storage card (without any reason)
In conclusion: v6.100 (build 7970) for PDA's and
v6.203 (build 7220) for PNA's (but works also for PDA's)

Normally, there's a cab intstaller - I've got the maps so that's not a problem, but do I just copy these files to my memory card? Surely the updated program needs to be installed somehow? I'm using a Tytn on WM6.

I don't think 6.203 is newer than 6.03 because it's a strange things, the versionning of tom tom. It was already posted some months ago.
Tom Tom is pretty good for Europe and USA, not too much for east and orient and not good at all for asia lol

6.030.0830 is for PDA WM2003 and WM5
6.100.8100 is for PDA WM5 ONLY!!!
6.200.xxxx is the Taiwanese / Chinese Version

But it's very slow(up to 40 second to start on a tytn),and it doesn't allow to connect on tom-tom traffic(available on 6.100).

I bought myself a HTC Touch. A friend of mine told me about this site and gave me a link to this post so I can install TomTom navigator on my PDA. I've extracted all the files to my harddisk, after which I've copied all the files to my SD card. Then I tried to start up TomTom on my HTC. It doesn't seem to work.
Does anyone have any guidelines for me I can use?
That would be GREAT!
Thanks!

This didnt work for me either, it installed but takes 2 mins to load....I have installed version 6.030 build 8320 which is arguably a newer release than 6.2, anyway 6.03 loads very fast and has no probs at all in WM6 (Atom) custom cooked by jiggs!
Search the forum for Tomtom thread and you shall find what you are looking for.

Enjoy the release & Reps goes to the author for bringing us the hottest available GPS on earth..

My device information
TTN6.203 work perfectly on my HTC P4350, WM6 OS.
Steps I did to run TTN6
I download all 3 "TomTom[1].part.rar" files, copy them into my MiniSD "Program Files/Tomtom6" folder, and run the "Tomtom Navigator.exe". TTN6 automatically pickup 2 copies of the US & Canada map that I copied into different places inside my MiniSD.
I don't even need the Crack program to run.
I am zipping, splitting the Map now, once I am done, I will post again for your guys to download. Have fun!

Hi, any kind soul mind to share what is the diff of this version 6.203 from the version 6.030 which I am using now?
I was using v6.032 (build 8351) also and just installed 6.203 (actually now 6.204). The only difference I see so far is the text for contact list search is smaller and easier to read. I have not tried the navigation part yet, but I do not think there would be anything different.
6.203 & 6.204 does seem like they take a little longer to get past the TomTom splash screen.

Yo Bro, thanks for the quick reply and like you said I do notice that there is a v6.204 thread here too.
Since you tried all 3 versions, may I know are they taking up the same amount of internal memory ? I tried installing 6.030 into SD Card but than it will still take up afew MB of internal memory unlike Mapking which can be fully running from SD.

Yo Bro, thanks for the quick reply and like you said I do notice that there is a v6.204 thread here too.

I did not use v6.203 or v6.204 for too long. It is slow. I just read the first few posts of this original thread that it is slow, unless you copy the big file, I think chinese.ttf. I tried to copy to SD card, but it is still slow. It seems to only work on the device, but I do not have room on my device for the file. I went back with v6.0302.

If you mean the password to download from Megaupload, the password is next to the box where you type in the password. If you mean the unlock code for the map, then you need to download the Garmin unlocker, by Jetmouse.

Have you just copyed the map files on the memory card or really installed them? Both should work, but when you install them on the memory card, TomTom should launch as soon as you insert the memory card.
Are the maps in any subfolders or just in a folder in the root directory?
Well, dont know what else to tell you...

Yo Bro, mind to share the link to your v6.032 ? The v6.032 thread here seems to have problem of mute PDA speaker after soft-reset.
The v6.203 and v6,204 are taking too much internal memory with a Chinese3 file of 16+MB and I wonder can it be deleted for people who runs program in English.....

I don't mind, but I found the same issue. The only way I resolved it was to press the D-Pad button on my Treo 700wx to the right, which increases the volume. Pressing left decreases the volume. Strangley, turning the sound off, then on did not work. Only pressing the D-pad button.

I read from afew forums that the "sound off" seems to be a known problem for v6.032 and i found a torrent for v6.032 with flight mode patched but unfortunately downloaded files seems to be corrupted and unable to unzip.
Anyway, I will continue digging ......:ilove:

I decided to go back to v6.030.8320 which I downloaded last night and is connecting to gps with or without updating the agps location of my iPAQ (previous Kastibong version can't). Other than the splash screen is different, everything is running perfectly and is only approx. 4MB and copy directly to SD and use instantly without the need to install at all.
Just added "Austin Powers" voice and is superb  "Yeah babe Yeah" LOL !!!!

Wow, finally figure out how to install this v6.203 correctly on my SD card and is able connect to GPS with or without updating my AGPS location. Best of all it will not kill PDA phone speaker like v6.032.
Simpily copy the TomTom folder (incl all files inside) to the SD card, copy crack and coredl2.dll (mine is WM2003SE) into the TomTom folder in SD Card and lastly delete file "navigator.cfg" so that it will prompt you to select language, etc.
**Note : Maps will not be found if is in the same SD card where the TomTom is running and have to be copy to the root directory of my 2nd miniSD Slot.... it is unlike other previous TomTom version but of course that is what I always wanted. :ilove:
The only problem is the soft keyboard no longer appears during browse map and has to use the Qwerty keyboard of my iPAQ to type the 1st letter than scoll down to select.

Honestly, if your tomtom is running fine than probably there is no need to change to this v6.203 and as for the map wise you can download the later v675 North America Map and you should be able to read fine too. :ilove:

1st unzip the v675 map you downloaded than I presume your v660 map is in your SD Card so simpily delete the whole map folder and copy the unzipped "North America Folder" back into the SD Card. Under normal circumstances your tomtom should be ready to "Rock & Roll". :weedman:

Hi ya guys, this version works superb for me even compare to the v6.204 but like I said I have to copy the TomTom programe to my SD Card and Maps into a seperate drive (mini SD) inorder not to get the message of "no map found". So for others that do not have 2 media slots on their PDA will have to copy TomTom programe to internal memory which eats up almost 29MB.
To what I know all previous TomTom versions are able to have both programe and maps in the same SD Card so Just wonder has anyone think of a way to Mod this v6.203 as well ?

I bought myself a HTC Touch. A friend of mine told me about this site and gave me a link to this post so I can install TomTom navigator on my PDA. I've extracted all the files to my harddisk, after which I've copied all the files to my SD card. Then I tried to start up TomTom on my HTC. It doesn't seem to work.
Does anyone have any guidelines for me I can use?
That would be GREAT!
Thanks!
