Many are looking the step like in MSactivesync to sync their outlook contacts into their Iphone. I will post different ways that became successful for some iphone users.
------------------------------
Outlook 2003
1.) Within outlook, click help>check for updates
After you ensure you have the latest updates, try and and sync again. If this doesn't work, go to step 2.
2.) Within outlook, click help>detect and repair
**Note, make sure you have backed up all your contacts and calender.
Once this is complete, ur contacts is on ur iphone already
(not all are succesfull on this way)
----------------------------------
or TRY THIS (BETTER WAY)
Once Outlook 2003 has disabled the Apple Sync Add In:
Click on HELP, select Disable Items, select the Apple Sync Add In and click ENABLE.
Next click on TOOLS, OPTIONS and select the OTHER tab, click on ADVANCED OPTIONS, click on COM Add-Ins…deselect both Apple Add-Ins, click OK.
CLOSE Outlook.
Connect iPhone.
Once iPhone is connected to iTunes, select the iPhone and launch Outlook.
Next click on TOOLS, OPTIONS and select the OTHER tab, click on ADVANCED OPTIONS, click on COM Add-Ins…Select both Apple Add-Ins, click OK.
Return to iTunes and click SYNC.
Once iPhone SYNC is complete, return to Outlook and deselect both Apple Add-Ins until the next time.
--------------------------------------
Simple WAY:
Go to Outlook. On menu, go to Tools/Options. Pick the Other tab, then Advanced Options. Look for COM Add-Ins and select the two Itunes choices.
----------------------------------
Other way to sync Contacts:
Sign up for a yahoo account and once there input all of your outlook contacts into Yahoo contacts. When synching the iPhone choose Yahoo as the contact source. You will be prompted for your yahoo id and password.

Hope this will help people!
