Hi, I don't know if there're anyone here interested in SVG icons for themes.

I used to copy PNG icons into my themes, which makes masking and editing a great torture. And I've tried to convert some png into svg, but the results aren't quite satisfying.

I stumbled upon these collections of SVG icons only recently, created by some brilliant authors :angel:. According to their release notes, most of these icons are free for personal use, just don't make changes. I think these goodies could be of more value in the hands of theme masters in iPmart ^_^

If anything in this thread violated your rights, please pm me, I'll remove instantly.

According to the arthor, though the set is not completely finished yet, missing some apps etc, it's still quite useful ^_^

I'm using XnView in XP. It's a tiny freeware, you can see the thumbnails in its browse window (though in terrible colors) & copy them directly into UI ^_^

You can use live trace in Illustrator or the tracing engine in InkScape.
However, the result would probably be terrible....
You'd better find icons in vector formats from the beginning.

Its A collection of PNGs and Vectors...
The Pngs u can use directly...
The files with PNG icons in them are titled as pNG so need not f=get confused, look for the title of the post...

Secondly, there are a LLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTTT of programs that convert vectors (eg. SVGs, AIs etc.) to raster forms ( PNGs BMPs, etc.) do some googling

thirdly U will need Picture Resize Genius to correctly resize these icons for usage in Theme studio

The posts that contain Only PNGs are titled as "..... 25 Png icons..." or something like that, so that u need not get confused

Hey mate..
Put the Icons any where.
But remember to resize them 53 x 53.
Creat theme and just drag the wanted icon (resized) to the element of concern (of which u want to chang the icon in UI 3.2)

I've been looking for these for quite some time! Not the exact icon pack, but an alternate colouring version, you can see it in "Noble gray by Gabb" or "Gmail Colours by Gabb" or "Just gray by Gabb". The packs are commercial and you can find them in istockphoto...any chance we can get them here aswell?! Especially the pack that is used in the Gabb themes, it's amazing!
