You can buy it at any Apple store in States.
Now you can only pay with Credit Card, and maximum is two phones.

After that, bring it home and crack it.
It's easy, and it takes around 15-20 minutes.

yeah i want it in india and unloack it though i have heard that in 2nd quater of 2008 it will be offically launched but i saw many iphones in india which are already unlocked....

You can always try purchasing an unlocked device from ebay.

but i don't know if ppl outside the states can buy iphones directly to apple... i think it's not possible... i'm thinking in flying the states and buy 2 :)
