This ROM is based on HTC OFFICIAL ROM for HTC Artemis / P800W.

O2 Orbit has the same hardware as HTC Artemis & Dopod P800/W
because the manufacture are the same, they all by HTC.
all above is the same... only different casing and bundled software.

well actually u can install it at Orbit/Artemis/P800 ... but why? u will loose your GPS function... and all the extra function from that device.

as i said... this ROM is designed "only" for Dopod M700 or HTC Love devices.
for the Orbit/P800/Artemis version you can download at xda-developers.com... there are many ROM to choose.

M700 Rom update (1.28.717.1 WWE)

IMPORTANT! - please read these instructions carefully before updating your device
1. Download the .zip file and extract the .exe file within.
2. Ensure latest version of Activesync v4.xx is installed on PC/laptop.
3. Connect Dopod M700 to PC/laptop.
4. VERY IMPORTANT! - Ensure your Dopod device is connected properly to the PC/laptop.
5. Make sure the battery is charged to at least 50%.
6. Double-click on the .exe file to run the update utility
7. VERY IMPORTANT! - All files and software on the device will be lost after the update. Please ensure a copy of your important files are safe somewhere else.
8. Please close all programs on your PC/laptop when running the update utility.
9. VERY IMPORTANT! - Do not unplug the device when the update process is running, doing so may damage the device.
10. After updating, the device will reboot, this is normal.

Note: If you are using backup software, please do not restore any system files as this may affect the ROM.

I have HTC ARTE300 from Artemis Family. Want to confirm if this is correct ROM for my BRICKED Arte300?

Its bricked with some other ROM by my friend. Now I can get it into Multicolor Bootloader screen. Can I flash this rom on ARTE300? Please help asap as my heart is in my mouth after so many days I am trying to bring it back to life.
