That's the solution


For those having the same problem ! (POI title categories in English with Greek maps and greek language)

The solution is to edit the file DestinatorApps\Destinator\Language\Greek\Destinato rMSG.Inf

and correct the lines to
IDS_INTERFACE_LANGUAGE="GRE"
IDS_INTERFACE_CODE_PAGE="1253"

instead of
IDS_INTERFACE_LANGUAGE="ELL"
IDS_INTERFACE_CODE_PAGE="1253" or other

with the new map i got the first "destination unreachable ....by car" message (on L.Kimis near OAKA stadium), I'll try the same route with 1221 map, to see what will happen

Hello! I can't register maps for Greece.I copied th destcore.dll but Im not sure if i copied in the reight place. thank you

I tried the same route with Q2.1221 map and faced no problem!
something is wrong with Q4. map

Install in on your device.
In the very first page of this thread are many links with maps. Download the map you need and extract it on your hard disk. Copy it then in the directory "destinator" in your device

they have maps bundled with their own branded device.

may be in near future MapMyIndia launch their map database as seperate GPS maps with application for different platform.

One thing though..the new maps as well as the previous version are for 6.1.1 (not the old 6).
Now the new maps are originaly coming from NGI without new forlinks which basically means you keep the previous map's version forlinks. :)

copy shortcuts of each program in directory my device/windows/start_menu/programs .
but try to separate them,puting one of them (for example) in a new folder, because there will be 2 same shortcuts for 2 different versions of destinator.

They look completed. F.e the release before 2 days (vers.95) didn't have details for some places supposed to be included (f.i. Desfina).In the new release (vers 97) are included. Apparently its a mistake correction as those places were announced.

By the way : I think in onoff's link (with G and E maps and forlinks) the forlinks dated 29/2 dont work (its for the previous map version). Good forlinks are those of 5/3 -as Psycho's 13 link.

I tried unzip and winrar without any success.
Any sugestions?

To unzip multiple files you must have all in the set to be able to get the full file,download both parts, put in same folder then using winzip or winrar right click with mouse and choose "extract" to where ever you have default folder to unzip.

But these files ends t 001,002,etc , so the option that i have is to compresse and not to extract....:fart:

There was until 14 pm GMT. After that the uploader changed the continents of the link and there are only a couple of maps. Now the only link with maps still working is:

I have searched a lot of fora with links working a few days before and all the links come to: File not found or deleted. So anyone who has previusly uploaded, must upload again. And if anybody finds a map just download it before is deleted again:repost:

But I guess that this maps can be found on e-mule or by torrent... My connection blocks these so if someone can download it from there I suggest to do it and then upload again on a public server so I and everyone else could get it.
