Q-GPS is a replacement for the built-in software A-GPS of the hw6515. A-GPS improve the speed to login of the GPS by downloading information on the net. Q-GPS make it possible to do the same, both for 2 and for 7 days. It does'nt use the same layer than HP firmware and avoid downloading freeze, usual with bluit-in software.
Update feb 07: 10 days update disabled, only 7 days update

works well on my htc trinity (aka P3600 also) with tomtom 6 wm5
cold fix with rain max 90 seconds, then 30-45 seconds

With hpw6915 works very fine. A long time ago i use this and is very useful. The first version works for ten days, by now only for seven, i don´t no why..

does activate gps on a 6700?

do you mean HTC Apache / PPC-6700 ?

yeah, I was talkin about the PPC-6700. I heard that it has gps but it's only activated when 911 is dialed. I just wondered if this unlock that
