and i thinks most of them are compatible with firmware 1.1.1
if you install using Installer, they will double check your firmware. so if your firmware doesn't match to that program it will cancel it and warn you..
example when i try to install iLang in firmware 1.1.1, which is only can be installed in firmware below or equal to 1.0.2.
