And by the way, you should change the title from "...For WM 5" to "...For all the devices that support Wisbar Advance and Wisbar Advance Desktop"

when I download part 1 my Avast scanner deletes the download telling me its a Trojan?

1: Install Wisbar Advance

2: Copy the Vista Beta One folder onto your device (say into my documents). I copy Wisbar skins into the Program files/Lakeridge folder personally. Then use Wisbar Advance to import that skin and use it.

It isn't a trojan, there is nothing in there but image files.

These are skins (themes) they don't slow your PPC, but some of the applications they are skinning may slow it down. I haven't had any bad experience with Wisbar or Ilauncher, but don't use the rest of the apps.

No, Wisbar doesn't do keyboards. I checked in the archive and couldn't find any keyboards, probably not in this pack :(

The Keyboard skins are meant to be used together with Resco Keyboard

I'm a newbie here.

I have my WA v3.1 Build 4 in my O2.
I was able to extract the zip file for WVista Theme II for WM5.
Sorry but can someone out there would help me on how to install(tutorial) the theme coz i was so confuse due to a lot of file folder has bee exctracted (cLaunch,IconXT,iLauncher,psSHUTXP,Today Themes,Vista Beta LITE,Vista Beta ONE & PocketBreeze,Vista Beta ONE WAD,Vista Beta TWO Pocket Weather).

I Checked with Avast in part one the ICONXT folder contains a VBTWO.dll which is infected. !!!

Now i've spent alot of time trying to get his vista theme to work.
But it seems to me that the paths cant be found, the theme is loading without any icons and backgrounds and if i use the properties to manually point at the right path i can recover or make it to work, but this is wrong so i ask someone here to tell me what i'm doing wrong... why can't the program find my icons, background and stuff.

Shall i put the whole archive into the Wad Skins folder on my mem card, or just the WAD skin folder?

This is anoying and i realy want this to work.. :)

Please help me out here someone...

How to Install:
Quick Start Guide
So you really just want to jump right in and use the skin right? Wrong. Read the following so you don't start asking questions and pissing people off because you don't read.

*Note: You MUST be experienced at using WAD for the instructions to go smoothly. If not then first consider using the software a bit longer THEN use this skin. You have been warned!

1. Make sure first of all that you have something that can Extract .zip archives. It is recommended though that you also have a .zip extractor on your Pocket PC device just incase that Microsoft Active sync purposely starts converting the .png images to a jpeg format rendering the archive unusable. If not then consider getting either Resco Explorer 2005 or either Spb Pocket Plus 3.
2. First, you must have a storage card available to store the folder and use the WAD theme "out of the box" with its default name, \Storage Card. If not, then consider purchasing Pocket Mechanic or SKTools (Both are great software!) which will change the name of your storage card and format it for you. *Update: Future translations will be available soon.
3. Once you have made sure that you have the correct name of Storage Card next is now creating the folder for Vista Beta ONE to work. Within your Storage Card create a new folder named WAD Skins (Yes this is case sensitive!!!!!) and then copy and paste the VistaBetaONE.zip into the WAD skins folder and extract. You should now see a folder named "Vista Beta ONE WAD".
4. Now, last thing to do. Open up the Vista Beta ONE WAD folder and cut the VistaBetaONE.skin file. Go back (make sure you don't exit your file viewer!!) to \My Device and look for a folder named "Themes". Keep opening the folders until you see "default.skin" Remember that VistaBetaONE.skin? Paste it in here.
5. Now open up the "Theme Manager" in Start Menu> Settings> System> Theme Manager, or just tap and hold anywhere in an empty space on your desktop and select "Theme Manager" from the menu.
6. Is your heart pumping faster now that you may see Vista in a few more taps? Good... Open up WA2 and Install the Vista Beta ONE skin. Now within the Theme Manager you should now see "Vista Beta ONE, just tap and hit the green check on the bottom left of your screen poof! Vista!

Inside the Vista Beta ONE WAD folder you've extracted, you'll find a file called: Vista_Beta_ONE_WAD.htm.

Open it up on your PC to find the complete instructions on how to install as well as all the functions of this program.

A little bit of exercise on your part to help yourself before asking others is a good thing. I've never used WAD before nor any other one of these programs but I found the HELP file quickly and easily.

try Search IPmart main page for "Wisbar Advance 3" and "Wisbar Advance Desktop 2"

After you install it, place the complete downloaded folder in two your Storage card..

For Wisbar Advance 3
=============================================
Go to Start -> Settings -> Personal -> Theme Manager

Tap on "WisBar Theme"

Right side, Tap on Menu -> Install

Browse to the folder you copied into your SD Card, you have two folders should be compatible
"Vista Beta LITE" & "Vista Beta One" click one of them and if you are on the right track you will see a file appeared in the main dialog box, click apply


For WisBar Advance Desktop
======================
Just Install the application "WAD2" first

Then -- start the application -- on the desktop tap & hold --- go to settings -- change theme -- right side tap on menu -- Scan for Themes

If you are on the right path, it should tell you "X themes found" where X should be more than 0 of course.

Tap on OK and then you should have the new themes in the list, click on one of them and then menu again "Set as portrait theme"

Make apply and then ok.


This is the best i can say here, i am in the mood to be more detailed so you figure out few things here and there... cheers
