to remove a user's unknown password
goto run->type in cmd -> thentype in cmd window-> net user administrator
instead of administrator, u can use any user name, it will ask for a password, after typing the command just press enter 2 times, ur password is removed now..

yes the above command does not work from a limited account so how to reset password then .........
i tried the above command today on my library PC it showed administator and guest accounts only and when i tried to change password it message appeared access is denied .......the account with which i was logged in was not there ......
the worst thing about my library pc is that they do not have any Cd roms so one can not reset password with any program ....
i have also tried to boot my library pc using a usb but i never succeeded in booting via usb .......

If u just want to access the admin account, goto run -> open "lusrmgr.msc" -> open users -> right click on the username u want to change the password..
[NOTE: If you change or set a new password, you wont get old data of that account, but u can access to that account with new password, so be careful..]

Bro thanks for this command but this command does not work in windows xp home edition , the command u have mentioned above is a real good one .. but could you post any other command that would hack to change password in any windows xp edition and would be reliable ... Pal this is from my experience almost all commands get blocked in limited account since in a limited account the user is not allowed to save or write anything in windows folder or program files folder .. that is the main problem ..
