Hi friends, am giving the instructions how am making s60 screensavers like i did here ([Only registered and activated users can see links])..

Coz of am engaged in some works am not getting time to make screensavers here.. here are the process of making screensaver(there may be many other easy way, but this is the method am doing, & just think abt my effort am taking here:curtsy:)

1)Installation
a)Install “SWFText ([Only registered and activated users can see links])”.

b)Install “Easy Gif Animator ([Only registered and activated users can see links])”.

c)Extract “mbm_wizard ([Only registered and activated users can see links])” to a folder.

d)Extract “makesis ([Only registered and activated users can see links])” to the same folder where “mbm_wizard” extracted. 2)Working
a)Open SWFText

i)Click “Movie” -> Set Width “176” & Height “208” for s60v2 phones [240x320 for n73 & other]

ii)Click “Background“ -> [select your choice].

iii)Click “Background Effect“ -> [select your choice]

iv)Click “Text” -> [Enter your text].

v)Click “Text Effect” -> [select your choice].

vi)Click “Font” -> [select your choice] & Adjust layout if you want.

vii)Click “Publish” button below -> save as .gif [save as .swf for n73 & other]
b)Open Easy GIF Animator

i)Click “Open Existing Animation” -> open previously saved gif file.

ii)Click “File” -> “Export all frames” -> “Give any name” filename contain no spaces) -> “Save file type as bmp” -> Click “Save”.

iii) Download BmpAnimScrPlugin.rar -> Extract to "Makesis" folder.
c)Open Mbm Wizard

i)Browse for previously saved files.

ii)Select those files.

iii)Select the color depth you want, select “/c24” for better quality)

iv)Click “Add selected as”.

v)Click “File” -> “Save” (save to folder “makesis\system\system\screensavers\” as “BmpAnimScrPlugin.mbm”)
d)Open makesis

i)Click “Heavy”.

ii)Type UID “0A200112” or any valid.

iii)Select Project path (select the “system” folder in makesis folder) -> (the path should show in the list as “system\screensavers\ BmpAnimScrPlugin.*”)

iv)Give any name to the project.

v)Click “Make SIS”.

vi)Transfer the file to Mobile.
e)Install the file in phone in any path.

Download ([Only registered and activated users can see links])Easy GIF Animator 4.4 ([Only registered and activated users can see links])

UnmakeSIS, MakeSIS & MBMwizard ([Only registered and activated users can see links])

instructions for using...



-> extract the .rar archive.
-> open any folder tagged arabai/breakdance/bubble/dalma/duman/goz/kedi/ or any one you'd like.
-> check out if you are using any OS7 or OS8, 8.1 handset.
-> select 6600 compatible ini+sc files for OS7 and 6680-compatible ini+sc files for OS8, 8.1 handsets.
-> paste them to !:system/screensavers

hey , goto "system\system\screensavers" & edit the :BmpAnimScrPlugin.ini" file & change the name to anything u want...

the problem isn't the name,it's that it's really that screensaver that pops.
(Name with a green loading bar below)

I think i know why it does this:The mbm file doesn't generate properly.
But is it normal that mbmwizard takes soooo long to save the file?

usually it takes low time to generate the mbm file, sometime it m8 coz of the size of ur source or system requirements prob.. or some other prob...

i dont think it takes so long to save the file... check properly the pic files tat u r adding to mbm...

I had PM you about the same.. even i am owner of the same type of thread in other forum.. but i used to use image createing from reddodo.com.. thanks a ton brother.. you have lion heart.. best luck.. but even if you have given all the things there are very few guys who will actually implement the thing.. cos many people dont have habit to read all the things.. lol

Sorry n0f3a6 mate, I need more explanation as below.

1. Download BmpAnimScrPlugin.rar -> Extract to "Makesis" folder. [Where is this "Makesis" folder?]

2. Browse for previously saved files. [.bmp only? .gif only? or both?]

3. Click “File” -> “Save” (save to folder “makesis\system\system\screensavers\” as “BmpAnimScrPlugin.mbm”)
[where is this “makesis\system\system\screensavers\” folder? I can't create one because the symbol "\" can't be used as folder name.]

4. Select Project path (select the “system” folder in makesis folder) -> (the path should show in the list as “system\screensavers\ BmpAnimScrPlugin.*”)
[where is this "system" folder?]

Meanwhile, I'll try to download the completed screensaver posted by you to see what files are in the .sis file in order for me to get a clearer picture about your "secret" :).

I'm totally new in these softwares and your step by step guide is very much appreciated.

i dont know how to display other lang fonts, bt wen i was doin some regional languages displayed, i dont know how, may be the speciality of font file(TTF)
or u can create the text wit 3d effects in any picture editing software and save as jpg or bmp or any other.. then open swftext, set the background to tat picture u created & u cant give text effect to tat, u can give only background effects like i did in (particles, disperced stars, hearts, etc...)
if u r using makesis, then place the makesis.exe in a folder named makesis.., then download BmpAnimScrPlugin.rar & extract to makesis folder, u can extract any file to anywhere
open mbm whizard & u can add any type of file tat shows in the file list, bt, u must set the palette to /c24 to get high quality, then save as system\system\screensavers\BmpAnimScrPlugin.mbm(u need to create folder named "system"->"system"->"screensavers")
i told a structured manner coz, u need to pack the "BmpAnimScrPlugin.mbm + BmpAnimScrPlugin.sc + BmpAnimScrPlugin.ini" to a sis file, so its better to place all the project files in one place.
then in makesis, add the files BmpAnimScrPlugin.* including the folder system, the files in makesis list should look like this
"system\screensavers\BmpAnimScrPlugin.mbm"
"system\screensavers\BmpAnimScrPlugin.mbm"
"system\screensavers\BmpAnimScrPlugin.mbm"
i hope u r clear now... if not, u shud try till work(taz the better way to learn new techniqs as i did:hahaha:)

hey...

open ur swftext & goto font section->then look for the fonts tat showing as ur chinese lang(there may be many other chinese fonts, but they may showing as □□□□, look for the exact chinese characters), thos fonts will help u, not only for chinese fonts, for any fonts tat showing properly in fonts dropdown menu will display the characters properly...

I tried this method but still nothing is displayed. Not even □□□□. I even installed extra Chinese fonts but it doesn't help. (see attachment)

I also tried open it using Microsoft AppLocale and unfortunately, it doesn't help too.

Possibly this software doesn't support Chinese language...

bro... try to save all thos with proper color, dont try to overwrite old file, try to save as new file(to check whether it can save with its contents...)

but how can we install more then 1 screen savers (N70)

and i also changed the name.... + changed the UID + changed the name in (.ini) file

but when i install some other screensaver it askes for [replace 1.00 with 1.00]

plz help...

and plz tell the names of any more apps like SWFText........(or just some text effect apps)

u can use only 1 screensaver at a time, if u hav to use another, jst replace previous while installing[replace 1.00 with 1.00],thn there may many softwares like swf text, bt i dont knw much abt it,just search on any search engine, u can find it out...also am not currently focusing on it,nw am in different field, sorry for the inconvinence...

to use on symbian 3rd, publish the animated file into gif file, and there is some app to use gif file as screensavers, its in this thread, but am not remember in which post, its name start with multimedia, search in 3rd edition thread

it happens to every1, bt if u tried again carefuly,u wont get such prob,thn select all image quality in thembmwizard to unique quality,thn try to save it,if tat too din workd,try o save it somwr else,thn copy tat file to the screensavrz foldr
