ABBYY Lingvo 12 Smartphone for Symbian OS™ is an electronic dictionary for smartphones operating under Symbian OS v. 7/8/9 (series 60 platform).
You can install any number of system dictionaries on your smartphone. You can also install user dictionaries created in the desktop version of ABBYY Lingvo.


System Requirements:

1- Operating system: Symbian OS v. 7/8/9 (series 60 platform).
2- Memory:
1 MB in main memory to store program files and for normal program
operation;
9-285 on a memory card to store dictionaries;
140 MB for the sound files.
3- Software for smartphone synchronization (provided with the delivery kit).


Sound Modules and more dictionary are available in complete package of ABBYY Lingvo 12. If I get it I will post the sound modules here.


"*.lsd" dictionary database files must be in "*:\ABBYY Lingvo\Dic\" dir.

Move the *.lsd file to this folder in your storage card. Create the folder in your storage card if it doesn't exist.

Ex: e:\ABBYY Lingvo\Dic\LingvoUniversalEnRu.lsd

thanks for the dict. but I've got a problem. I downloaded and istalled (as described in te txt file) all dictionaries but only En-Ru and Ru-En work and are shown in the list of dictionaries in the programm. The others: modern encyclopedia and zhivago are not. Maybe I've done smth wrong??
I'll be greatfull if you give me an advice

Hmm. I don't know where to download the sound files. It remained me to install sound files for playing the voice. Anybody can tell me? Thanks.....
