How to deal with Megaupload?
Important!! Read this before reading anything else :
This post is solely for educational purpose , if the user is using the knowledge of this post to download illegal material , the author of this post will not hold any responsibility.
Ok let us start :D
For uploader :
Since people encounter problem such as the files is being deleted due to certain circumstances , or the link is expired due to inactivity,therefore one of the way is to :
Upload to megaupload through this site -Sendfile ([Only registered and activated users can see links]), because it upload through lifetime premium account so files have no expiration! :D
For Leechers :
USA region user experience a service call " Happy hour premium" which offer free premium account during 9pm to 5 am estern time , the method i aill be using is simply activite the sevice in your account
First of all
You need:
1. A download manager , Flashget is recommended
2.Two web browser , eg Firefox and IE ( Internet explorer )
3. A free account in Megaupload.com
4.The megaupload toolbar
Ok , here we go:
Step 1 :
Download Flashget and the two web broswers ( You can use other web broswer but one of them must be either IE or Firefox )
Go to megaupload home page , get a free member account and download megaupload toolbar.
[Only registered and activated users can see links]
Step 2 :
Install the megaupload toolbar. The toolbar will be installed to both IE and Firefox.
The reason i am going to use two Web browsers is Megaupload toolbar is actually a track device which will report your activity to Megaupload , in other words , its a spyware , but it is necessary to trigger the happy hour premium.
So in order to overcome this , you will have to use one of the web browser as bait , again , it must be either Firefox or IE.
In my case , i like to use Firefox , so i use IE as the bait . Therefore i delete the toolbar in the Firefox , and leave only IE holding the megaupload toolbar. :3
Step 3 :
Google some USA proxy , some recommended site are :
1. Alive proxy ([Only registered and activated users can see links])
2.Proxy.net ([Only registered and activated users can see links])
Just in case you have no idea what is a proxy , this is a simple guide :
if you have something like this:
66.98.238.8:3128
66.98.238.8 is the proxy number where as 3128 is the port number.

PS: The hosting country MUST be USA
I would recommend you get a transparent proxy , the speed is faster.
PS: I have tried both transparent and others ( anonymous etc etc.....) , i dont really feel there is any speed difference , so , i dont think transparent really will get you a faster speed , so you can use any proxy at ease as long as the origin is USA.
Step 4:
Now check your time , is it between USA Eastern time 9pm to 5am ( 21.00 - 05.00 ) ? If you have no idea , go to this site ([Only registered and activated users can see links]).
If the time is right , log on to megaupload homepage , key in your username and password , and "Login"
You will find that you are a member now , turn on your megaupload toolbar ( Again , in my case , i only install it in my IE , and delete the one in my firefox ) , and change your connection method ( HTTP )to proxy server :

For firefox user : go to tools/option/network( Tab )/Settings
And you will have this window:

For IE user : go to tools/internet option/connection ( Tab )/ settings
And you will have this window:

Key in the proxy no. you have choosen and click on "ok"
Step 5:
First , turn on the megaupload toolbar ( Again , in my case i turn on the megaupload toolbar in my IE )
ok now , go to this site ([Only registered and activated users can see links])
You will inform that you have activate the "Happy hour premium " for how many minutes , ok , now you can turn off the toolbar and switch your connection method back to "direct connection"
Quit your current web browser ( In my case , i use IE as bait , so i am closing my IE ) , and start up another web browser which is megaupload-toolbar-clean ( In my case , i am using firefox , remember to delete the toolbar before hand )
Log on to megaupload homepage once more , key in your username and password , you will find that you are a premium user, HOREEEYYY!!! But since megaupload increase its security a few months ago , you must have a download manager....

Step 6:
Ok , now the donwload manager comes into place , i recommend flashget , anyway its a useful tool , you can use it for other purpose too :D
First ,start up your flashget. There is some configuration need to be set before donwload .
In the flashget option , go to tools/option/proxy
Click on "add" , select option "Http " , like below:

PS: When you fill in the proxy and port number , remember , it MUST be the proxy you use just now to get the premium , otherwise , you would not get the file!!!!
Click on "OK" and you will back to the previous screen , you can set it to be your default connection method.
Step 7:
Now log on to any megaupload download link , you will see a big "Download " Box , right click on it , you will see something like this:

PS: The flashgot shortcut you have seen is a plug in for firefox , which the name is "Flashgot"
You can either choose " Copy the location link " or "Flash got link " , both will bring up a window like this:

Click on "Advanced" and you will have something like this :

Click on the dropdown window of "Http" , select the http connection method ( In my case , i name it megaupload ).

PS: If you already set the proxy as the default http connection method , you dont have to go though these steps , you can straightly download right away. XD
Click on OK and you can now start downloading !!! Enjoy the max speed provided by megaupload !!!
