I'm quite confused that most of the file on the posts are uploaded on rapidshare:???:. Why do the people in this forum usually used this file-hosting server to upload their files? I say this because I think rapidshare has some problem in it (limited file size, free account with download tickets & limits, etc.)
Can anybody (especially experienced people with this kind of thing) help me why most of you posted in rapidshare?

IMO its the most reliable file hoster, without those tons of ads, with a clean simple interface etc. Thats why people use it.

Well, maybe zshare, gigeshare, or others without the download tickets (I'm not too familiar with this..).

About the posting, I think I'm also confused where to post it (mods, please help replace this thread to other section if I'm wrong!), because I'm still a newbie here, so sometimes I don't exactly knows where the right section to make a new thread..

it depend what kind of thing u want to post...just post it to a right section..ex..for PC app like antivirus or anything just post on Pc app Section,it`s simple :)

Well, I don't think like you. For the premium users or people who had paid for it, you all enjoyed the benefits. For people who are in the developing country (like Indonesia), the price for it is expensive, so we prefer to use the free account. The free account is lack of download benefits such as waiting tickets, download limit, etc.

So, by far I think zshare is better than rapidshare, because I'm using Universal Service Downloader (USD) and I downloaded a game linked in this forum without much problem. I tried USD with rapidshare, and it always stalled in the middle of the download process.

we live in the some country. i'm also prefer rapidshare than other hosting site. faster and no ads. try get a premium account if u want download from rapidshare. that's many indo sites offering low price rapid acc. on month for 30.000 rupiah.

I think RS is disadvantageous for you all only if you have a static IP. For people with dynamic IP, its no problem, except the lack of download managers and the download ticket countdown. (Both which I can live with).

And, as stated, there are sites which offer cheap RS Pre A/c. However, another way is to Upload and get 10k points and get your own a/c. :p

Its uploaders choice .. ask uploader for mirror link through pm .. we can't force anyone to use another host ..
