Start Menu > Run > Type "regedit" (Without Quotes) and hit enter...
...Then its more or likely in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Software > Name of App - if not, It may be in _CLASSES_ROOT ...

pringles, maybe you have installed antivirus and hence it is blocking the limewire from connecting to the internet......
if so then in the antivirus settings, permit the limewire to connect to the internet.....

Open Regedit, then go to this key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Uninstall
Then on the left hand pane, click on the folder of the program you want to delete and press delete. In Windows Vista the folders are identified by 32 digit ID keys, so you will have to click on each one untill you find the program that you want to delete. (note: You should only use this option if you have problems uninstalling using the add/remove programs(XP), Programs and features(Vista) applet in control panel).
