after downloading the map 'Western_and_Central_Europe_710_1576' from uzin and using the correct key my go910 doesn't show me this map as option to select. I also have the older version '710_1561' with works fine and without problems.

My config is a go910 with the patched ttsystem from 'Zibri'. Deleting the folder with the map '710_1561' doesn't help to solve the problem. I also checked the go910 id. I entered it correctly.

Can anyone help me to activate the map?

What does this map has that the 7.10 does not have?
Street coverage is the same, I am more interested in Portugal and it continues at 84% coverage if it had gone up to 90% then yes worth the dl otherwise I keep the one I have for now but that does not mean I won't take a look at it.

Make sure meta and meta.dct are in the France folder

PS You can also speed up the download by using most download accelerators too. I personally like MassDownloader myself.

Don't spend hours waiting for RapidShare timers.

Rapidshare reads the IP address that requests free download, and puts a 2 hour timer between downloads for the IP address. Some home users have dynamic IP addresses that are assigned a new IP address each time you connect to the internet provider service. So if you have this setup, and download one Rapidshare file, in theory, you can disconnect from your internet provider, and reconnect, and you can start a download again.

But if you are like me, your IP address is static...and does not change. To get around this, you can use a proxy server...which has a different IP address, to download the file for you. To Rapidshare, it looks like a different IP address, but it really is just you going through a proxy server.

The easiest way to use these proxy servers is to use a download program like Rapget v1.40 (http://www.rapget.com/en/download.html).

With this little free proggy, you can copy ALL the RapidShare links you want into the window, and then download them using free proxys that you can find in large lists just by doing a search on Google for "Free Proxy list." Then just add the proxys URLs and Port numbers into a .txt file, and point to the file in Rapget.

When you find a proxy list, copy the whole page to an editor, like Notepad, and clean up everything except the URL and the port number. To create a proxy list, just copy the IP addresses and ports into a .txt file, with one proxy on each line as follows:

202.63.72.10:80
211.7.12.240:80
203.113.115.20:8080
etc.

I copied about 200 proxy urls into a file and then watched in Rapget for which URLs worked and had good speed and then copied those URLs into a new file, and told Rapget to look there instead. Proxys come and go, so you have to update now and then by searching for more new proxy lists.

With Rapget, you still have to wait, but I set Rapget to try and download 20 files at a time, and they eventually hook up on a proxy and start downloading. In a day or two, I get 40 or 50 files and I dont have to watch anything.

There are no dumb questions, if one does not know it is bc he or she does not know

The blowfish come from an original map and some people who buys a map can share w/us those numbers and they can be used over and over for that particular map in different TomToms

Once we know the blowfish of a particular map then we make the meta.dct file w/one's device ID so it will work on our own TomToms

I just tried almost all US links I am getting a message that "Access to the specified resource () has been forbidden". I even tried "US Southeast Region" same message. Are you guys using any different links? Also I want to use these maps on my wm6 8525. Will these maps work on that pocket pc?

Either the uploader or TomTom have cut the links...they're now dead.

There are others still around this post.

PS your unit can currently only run v6 maps anyway.

I use on My TT one v2 the map Italy 7.10 with patched navcore. It works fine. Now I would like to update it with the version715. I downloaded and installed and patched it. (manually with tt_keygen7). It it is patched (ok) but when I copy the folder Italy on my sd card at start-uo of TomTom it freeze with the image of tom tom for ever. It not possible switch it off. (I need to take away the sd card and reset it). I reinstall versio v710 it works fine. Someone know what cold be the error.

I don't suppose anyone has a link for the US Western region for version 7.15?

I've got 7.15 installed on my TomTom and have come across lots of links for this map in 7.10...can I roll back to this version on my TomTom if I'm unable to get the map in 7.15?

can anybody explain why all the 710 and 715 maps operate and the 800 map not?

i have crakced the DLL file i can operate my go
but always when i connect the Tomtom with tThome it said my device doesn't support this OS

I instal firs Navcore 8 sofware on my GO520 and after that map Western and Central Europe v800.1766. It works at 100%.

You can't use v7 or v8 maps on your Nokia but latest v675 maps will be fine.

TT one XL with 7.163 and diff maps patched 7.15 and 7.20
Works great and good. Also tthome workes.
When patching V7 versions tomtomhome works for all Maps inc. 720.**
Patching gives "OK etc"

Problems with 8.010 and 8.010.9369.dll
Included the both files.

The navcore file is from the computer. This file you can patch so you can work with tomtomhome program 2.3.
The rules:
1. From folder C: \Documents and Settings\ ... \Application Data\TomTom\HOME\Profiles\****.default\extensions\ Navcore.8.010.93693@tomtom.com copy dll-Navcore.8-010-9369-1.dll in other folder (for example ?:\A\).
2. Copy in the same folder patcher.exe (from folder ttsystem_Patcher) and start a command line (cmd).
3. Pass in folder (C: \A), and type: patcher.exe 8-010-9369-1.dll and press <Enter>. Close a command line.
reaction when patching: cant find, already patched, or... V7 and up.

And the ttsystem.8org is the original ttsystem from version 8.010. you have to rename this to ttsystem in the root.

But patching version 8.010.*** is not possible thats the problem.

search function is your friend.
new 8.010 navcore cannot be patched up to now, due to modifications in ttsystem.
rollback to 8.002 and everythings's fine again.

If it's 720-1803 TTS try removing all the Cspeech, CPoi, all language, and voice files other then your own language any raster files. What size now?
Otherwise download the 1G 1802 file.

CD, 8010 from tt wont let you use "borrowed" maps, and you can't patch with the easypatcher tool.You need to overwrite your 8010 with an SE 80xx ttsystem file or do a clean install of the SE basic pack and then add the SE80xx for your device. What device do you have - perhaps we can find you a map with a valid link.
Maybe even more uptodate than old v710 USA & Canada...

Also, specify your current App and bootloader ( find them on the Show Version screen )

830.2323 Indeed works quite well on WM Device. Using it on an HTC Trinity WM 6.5 and it's quite speedy. :D
