Here's a very simple application (Flash Lite 2) to show some of the Janus Symbian capabilities. It was packaged with Janus embedding also the Janus Engine to perform some extra features. The application is designed for Nokia N80, but you can also download a quick adaptation to others screen sizes.

At the moment there’re 6 extra functions provided by Janus Engine, but this set will grow up with more useful methods.
You need to install the following to get it to work (according to the manual)...
[quote]The whole Janus Suite needs the .NET framework version 2 to be installed.
Janus is Windows XP / Vista compatible (on Vista you must run Janus with admin privileges)
In order to correctly compile and build Symbian sis files, the following prerequisites must be already present:
· Microsoft Windows 2000 Family, Windows XP Family, Windows Vista Family
· Microsoft .Net Framework Version 2.0 or later

Nokia S60 1st Edition FP1 SDK (WINS) (6.1)
Nokia S60 2nd Edition SDK (WINS) (7.0s)
Nokia S60 3rd Edition FP1 SDK (9.1)
On a Janus fresh install, or on a Janus upgrade, you must go in "Tools" menu, "Save Symbian SDK Paths" and click the "Save" icon, so that Janus will correctly register the Symbian SDK paths. Usually the automatic setting will do, but you can input them manually just in case you need to.
Attention!
It's mandatory to install Symbian SDK's in your computer main folder (usually "C:") and in a folder without spaces or weird characters. The default settings will perfectly work. This issue is S60 SDK related.
In order to run, your Janus Symbian applications will need the correct Flash Lite version to be present.
