Nobody has obliged you to donate for this app., o.k. ... and now you feel anger because somebody has decide to share this application here for free, ... and now we all can download without pay or "donate" ...:dance::dance::dance:

Btw. this beta version is useless and i wonder, where is the version from "YouTube" videos?!? That one on presented video clips has worked well, why "beta" testers has receive incorrect version?

Neat app ! Needs a little work here and there though. Like it should be deactivated when a call comes , or deactivated when you lock keypad so your phone doesnt think a button is being pressed all the time lol.

very cool, but if u run it with rotateMe, it causes all hell lol. Im hoping samir will make it adjustable like he has for rotateMe, i.e. reactivity, sensitivity etc. Also the "stable" position should be adjustable, i rarely use my phone at exactly parallel to the ground, maybe samir can make an option to set the "centre" degree. or have it test for the centre, i.e. if the phone is held at x degrees for 5 seconds, that position then becomes the centre. Very cool though, hopefully he can get these suggestions.

this program need adjustable....it's very sensitivity.....but it's a great apps,in the games is fantastic.....(i try with bourout,global race,k rally!!!)

this is the first beta... wait till the next ones comes out and i'm sure it will be way better ;)

yeah at tha moment its way too sensitive!!

its really great with the n95 music application and also with games like snake and system rush, sensitivity and stationary position is kinda frustrating tho.

i cant wait for beta 2

It can't be done, at least with Beta 1.

Question: how would it be to combine three apps in one: RotateMe + Nokmote + ShutUp ?
It's kinda unpractical to keep 3 apps open at one time, to do similar things.
I hope Samir reads this thread :D.

And btw, good pointing with the center of the phone: I rarely keep the phone in a perfect horizontal position, so using Nokmote is stil a little bit hard. But it's okay for Beta 1.

Nokmote allow you to control your N95 by detecting the movement of the phone through motion sensing, like the Wiimote..

I forget to press "pen + c" and activate the program.
Now it's all ok on my n95 8gb

it doesn't work on my N95, it has installed Accelerometr plugIN with RotateMe(works), I've tried with PEN+C nothing happen (asking for removing APP) I can't open Nokmote from App menu - HELP PLZ

Any way hope the final version has more option than this 1.
Pips with problems running this try installing it 2 your 4n-mem not the mem-card.
N82 of coz has a pen... I think it's the # key or somethin.... read the manual. ;)

@itachigavin the N73 doesn't have the a sensor like the N95 and N82 so installing the accelerometers won't help at all

maybe mate you forget to press pencil+c after opening the nokmote application, but if dont work still, try to install again the accelerometer... but my suggestion is you just wait the next beta, bcoz this version is not stable to use, its too sensitive that you cant able to use it on playing games...

You need leave the app open so that it runs in background...
Also you need to press "Pen+C" to start this app...
Hope you did all this...
Coz if you did it than this app should work without any probs...

N95, I left this open, once I entered I selected "PEN+C", then I tryed it in appz menu, ten on the main view, & nothing ...

when do I supposed to click "PEN+C"? whenever I open nokmote? (when I can see Nokmote screen) or other time?

It works on my n95,and for best results,try to use the phone in the horizontal position....you will see.Works great,but only horizontal because the sensivity.

I may or may not have managed to sign the .sisx file using SignSis - it says it is successful!? - but when I attempt to install the application after the usual 'Install Nokmote?' and 'Security warning...' I get the error:

'Unable to install a protected application from an untrusted supplier'

I had this same prob,
solution 1 try to install accelerometer once again
solution 2 pres PEN+C together usinf 2 fingers, not PEN and then C

People! Just wait!!! I belive Samir know what he doing so just give him little more time because when he will release final version of Nokmote it will be fantastic thing! So be patient guys!

dont hold your breath for final anytime soon. beta2 maybe but even that one noone knows how long.
first thing to understand is that samir no longer has incentive to release in timely manner as donations might have dried to a trickle. cracked appz sites no longer respect the sanctity of his betas and his addage pay now to be the tester and everyone get free later no longer flies with them and they post them as soon as theyre released.
also with the competition now rising in form of freevare without compelling to donate which in terms of features match or surpass those by samir, besides pressures of life (him being a student), he is also forced to try to match or surpass those softwares.

i think it's got something to do with API thingy cuz i heard people saying that Something is different in 5500 and n95's accelerometer.
