I'll put it to the experts.

I've done a search on the net and was able to find a comm manager that will allow me to pick either 3g or edge as a data connection.

The dutty comm manager worked fine for WM5, but after I upgraded to WM6 the Dutty 3g comm manager no longer works and is not compatible with WM6.

Anyone know of an app that allows me to use either 3g or edge in WM6?

Lets check some probabilities:
- Does your phone support 3G? Normally, when you are in 3G coverage area, your phone should able to detect 3G & displays on the title bar
- What ROM are you running?
- I attached comm manager (touch dual style), I hope it works for you.
- Use advance configuration from schap, it has ability to change the content of comm manager.....one of the options is enable 3G or not.

I use one of Dutty's Comm managers on my WM6 device and it works nicely
