Hi to all the forumers ;)

I bring you good news. X-Plore 1.13 supports phones without the Pencil key and allows selecting files using the # key.
How you will ask:

Hold the # key and at the same time press the 'Middle' select key, the current file will be selected.
Hold the # key and press up or down at the same time and the current and previous or next files will be selected.
Don't know if this has been posted before, didn't read the manual for X-Plore also so don't know if this info is there also.

This was my request/question to LCG as I bought this app and was fed up to select the file from the programs menu. They responded that the next version will have it but I didn't get any info, there is no note in the change log to version 1.13. So I asked LCG and they responded that 1.13 should work with all phones without the pencil key. So I tried, and the tut is above.

Yes everybody knows that, sheesh but not everybody and I probably can say that only few ppl know that X-Plore supports those phones (when it goes for the # key), up to now you had to use the menu of X-Plore to select files one by one, now this method combined with X-Plore 1.13 allows you to select files without going to the apps menu, and I'm sure that you knew this right? :hahaha:

Try the one I'm posting right now, maybe it'll work, it's not a registered version so it'll have the nag screens, I'm positive it's 1.13 but maybe it's a special version for N82, I swear it's working on my N82 ;)

Besides I checked with a file comparison tool the file sinside sisx file and they are the same so you must be doing something wrong. Are you sure you're holding the # key and at the same time you're pressing the center button?

Short press of the * and # buttons still work like before Page UP/Page DOWN.
While the select thing is availible only when you hold the # key and the select or up/down key ;)

But holding # and center key at the same time still unpractical since it can be easily slip off :(

Imo it wud be far easier if w use other button like the camera button or lets say volume + and - to mark files directly :)
Anyway its better than none at all :)

Now lets hope other scene group soon cracks v1.13.. ;)

yes my friend, it works like a charm, and very practical. only when you leave the # key it moves at the bottom like in normal versions, thank you my friend :D

did you try for sure that it can't be cracked like the illusion's version?

you should post this version to the apps section, as it's a different version for specific phones.

What are you not able to get?

Most of the apps that are provided for os9.1 or 9.2 use the combination of keys with the pencil key.
X-Plore is one of the few apps that make use of the # on the sets that don't have the pencil key. That's it. In my first post I've written how to use it.
