This is console application made by me.. Maybe someone find useful in this app..
I'm begginer in Symbian C++ so i hope it will work fine for everyone ;)
It is changing value of Settings>Call settings>Send my caller ID..

Added MyID Simple Switch (MyID SSwitch).. Will change "Send my caller ID" value without asking..

I think that this app will be more useful if instead of inquiring the user it will just change the state and view a message with the new state.

sorry for the may be dumb question but does this app bypass the restriction of some mobile service providers to hide caller`s ID?.....i know my service provider restricts hiding caller ID and when i manually hide my ID in settings....my phone cant make outgoing calls until i go back to "show my caller ID: set by network"!.

...Peepz u can just use Tracker and create a shortcut to this app & ur done...

Tracker shortcuts are global...so u can then chg your id, anywhere. :)

i love the MyID Simple Switch one!!! rep++++! I love this tiny one-click apps that toggle a setting. We already have the bluetooth one, and now we have this one :)

first of all lower your font, second maybe your network operator doesn't allow you

For me even with Send caller id switched to No Caller Id is sent.:(

That's correct!

Don't worry if you can't implant the Chinese language into your software. Coz Most Chinese speaking users are fine with English versions :friends:

Xone, i have much respect for what you are doing! creating VERY small apps that are VERY usefull. Now that you are learning C++ i have a question: Would it be technically possible that this app changes it's icon in real time depending on the state of CLIP/CLIR? If so it would be very nice to have this on the standby screen.

Files can't be signed with opensigned.
Neither the files from your blog.

Guys.. the application does not work in India as no operator has allowed to change caller ID.
But I can make sure our developer friends can create an application which will not hide but make a fake "caller ID"... for example:
When I call a person on his cell my number is displayed is 0123456789, but after I install the application which might exist or would come to existence will change my number to 9876543210... Give it a thought it is possible.

We live in a world of possibilities...

I can't understand why Open Signed don't allow to sign this app.. UID is changed but Open Signed still show old UID.. :(
Any ideas?

PS. If someone want sign this app please send me IMEI on PM (until i'll make it Open Signed)..

If your in the U.S., just dial *69 then the number, and you can aviod all this.
