Hey guys, I think it is better for members to know their file size before they download it.(Especially from other sharing sites (rapidshare, megaupload, etc.)). I think it is better when someone posting links to download the files from other websites they also post the file size (total file size or each part of the files), which some members had already done that..:)

The file size of the app posted in hosting sites is generally given by poster...
Only in some cases they are not present...
Its because majority of links are leeched from some other sites...
And only if original uploader posts the file size than the lechers can post file size...
As they are busy in copy pasting rather than download/check other details of files...
But you can know the file size as soon as you start the download...
As far as i know all file hosting sites give details of file size before they start the download process...

Well, I think this will be a good suggestion since the members that have limited HDD size won't need to visit the file-hosting sites and just need to read from the forum..

it's nice to have but not required ... file sizes are made known once a download starts so just learn how the trick works and you'll be fine.
thread will now close ...
