Hey guys. Does anyone have problem with the latest TT Home and Navigator 7 on a ppc?

I have Ipaq HW6965 + TT Navigator 7 + New Zealand map v815.. And I used to have TT Home V1.5 Everything worked fine till I upgraded it to the latest TTH version (2.5 something) so I can use Google map features + Tyre and mapshare.

Now It doesn't even detect the device. I tried other old TTH version like 2.4, 2.3, 2.2 and 2.1 to no avail. I followed any suggestions give by the help file and online support at tomtom.com. But nothing works. TTH simply won't detect my device/navigator 7.

I installed both navigator 7 and the map on SD card. I tried SD card initilisation which was provided by help file but it just doesn't work. TTH stays still and nothing's happening.

Can any one please help me out? I'm still new to all TT stuff. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the time Machine. I am running Navigator 7.450 on an Acer N35 all works perfectly. Not able to use the v8 Maps yet but will soon.

and what is the Point of this Post, especially this Quote, my Post is almost 1 Year old and to this Time was it valid because there had no v7 navigator exist

Hi all tt7.v.910.9185 using western_europe_1GB_815.2024 and UK & ROI_815.2024 maps work great on HP Ipaq RX_1950 and HP Ipaq 5550 both PDA's using "RunMe8" app to add meta file. thanks very much for ipmart-forum and all information gained by reading the message boards

Could anyone help me to put TomTom7 on SE X1, I tried two different version of TT7 and once it says wrong version, second time it says the phone is not supported.

It's very easy, my friend - did it several days before:
you just need this cab (http://rapidshare.com/files/159784296/ttn7.910.9185_vga_black_cuckoo.cab.rar) - unrar, copy to any place on your SD-card or internal memory and run from x1. Install to internal memory or to SD - as you wish. Voices, schemes, maps etc you may put separately.

BTW choose "Built-in-GPS" & don't forget to launch "Quick GPS fix"-prog before launching TomTom - else it'll take you many time to catch satellites

Maybe thats my problem. Isn´t there a ttsystem to be patched on pda´s?

I took the cuckoo .cab, it works but all it says is that i don´t have any maps. I placed the map catalog inside the program folder, outside the folder and so on. Where do i put it?

There only 3 places on the PDA ever were for TomTom to see maps:
/My Documents/[your map folder]
/Storage card/[your map folder]
/Storage card/My Documents/[your map folder]

AND NO MORE!!!!

And not any [your map folder]/[your map folder2]/.../[your map folderN]

2024 (as well as 2034) - are purely for PDA. 2023 (as well as 2096) has some additional files (cspeech***) which aren't needed for PDA, but they may be used on PNA with TT7 navcore.

But as soon as we have no the whole row of maps for PDA we can use ones for PNA TT7 (files which are not needed can be simply deleted).

this v7 works for me on a HP HW6500 running MS Windows Mobile Second Edition. You need to unlock the maps. Search for keygen.

Howto:
after instal. tt7 and netf. on ur item u have to but the fix in ur navigator
folder and start it from this folder. it will do all automaticlly for u.

Im new to the site and have trawled through the posts before i wrote this.
Can anyone tell me if I can update the Tomtom maps on my Palmone Lifedrive.
I have version 5 UK maps on it already and i have tried to update but not really sure what im doing wrong.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Palm not supported by tomtom but you could buy a really cheap satnav and update it to tomtom.

I've installed Navcore 7.915 (9196) with Australian 830_2290 maps on my Samsung i8000 windows mobile phone. Program launches ok.

When time to navigate it keeps searching for the GPS signal with the message "waiting for valid GPS signal".
There's nothing wrong with the phone's GPS receiver as I've got CoPilot installed and that works ok.

And the annoying thing is when I cancel the TT GPS search, it tells me I have to soft reset my phone to update its settings.

Can someone help me with this problem please?

Works flawlessly with TT Nav 7.915.9196 & UKROI 835.2420 maps.

Incidentally, if you get "The bluetooth radio failed to turn on due to insufficient driver memory" error, just rename or delete the following two files in the windows directory of PDA: BTSDKCE30.dll & BTCORELF.dll
