Hi. I recently installed windows vista. I wonder why windows vista cannot detect my floppy drive? When i check with device manager, it stated that my floppy drive is working properly. Please help me. Tq

Did you check the cable between the motherboard to your floppy drive?
I have this problem before
1st --- the floppy drive cable is the old style?
2nd --- did you check the way that you plug it on your motherboard or floppy drive?
before you do anything above this, one thing you need to check first, when you turn on your PC dose the floppy drive light stay on? If yes, this mean the way that you plug your cable to the floppy drive or mnother board is wrong.
Hope this help.

There might be a problem with your floppy drive.

Anyway, floppy are not more often use so better stick with flash disk.

Thank you for all the answer. But i find it that windows vista cannot detect the floppy drive due to crack software. I install my windows vista with other computer, Vista can detect the floppy drive well. But after i run the activation crack program, the floppy drive is dissapear. CMIIW
