NiiMe installation

IN THE PHONE (Install all applications in the phone memory, tested with 20.0.015 RM-159)
1. Install Accelerometer Plug-In and aXYZ Plug-in
2. Install Python for S60 3rd edition (IMPORTANT: Plug-in and Shell)
IN THE COMPUTER (Step 1 only in .Py version not in packaged .EXE)
1. Install Python 2.5 and modules(WxPython, PySerial and Win32Ext) in your computer
2. Plug-in a bluetooth adapter (Use its own drivers, not Microsoft ones)
NOW LET'S GO TU RUN IT
1. Enable Bluetooth ;)
2. Open Python in your mobile, go to: "Options>Bluetooth Console" and connect to your computer
3. Run the Niime software (NiiMe.exe or NiiMe.py) and select the COM port of your bluetooth.
Right now Left click button is the "Right Option" button of the mobile and Exit button is the "Red Button"
The "INVERT" function is useful in Google Earth to fly (Press Ctrl+Alt+A in Google Earth)

And... Enjoy!

Great update popey. first to try. Hope this works with need for speed carbon. :)

now niime seems to work (only .exe file) but i cant connect mobile python with laptop.i get no serail port found.

thats the hardest part and i was in contact with author of this great app and he said he will be releasing a Guide on how to run it in Windows Vista Operating system soon :friends:

Did anyone managed to run it on windows xp x64 edition? Got problems with bluetooth drivers i think.

doesnt work with my laptop either, i get COM3 but from phone i get no serial ports...

Well it works for me but a bit better in Vista now.
It works with some games but not others.
When I play crysis it works fine in the menu but when I play the game it doesnt control my players movement.
Doesn't work in DOSBox (i tried with lemmings)
It does work in Command and Conquer 3 just like normal tho.

I want to try play a car game that can use mouse as steering tho.
I tried need for speed pro street but you can choose mouse as steering!

Can anyone tell me any games that can use mouse for steering please!

Oh Finaly i get it done,
first i dont have the python because i didnt install Python plug-in instead i install the Shell

After that i open python i click on Bluetooth console but i get Error No serial blabla

then i think about serial i go to my bluetooth driver ( i am using laptop, so i am using mircosoft Bluetooth Device setting)

after that i play arround with the COM port area, trying to scan and detect.

while scan and detech at the COM port area at Microsoft Bluetooth Device, at Python bluetooh console i also together click at my PC name.

After that it suddenly say Connected and call me to set as Default Host.

If those who get serial problem, you have to connect the python not to Niimouse,
you have to connect it to your driver and scan a COM port Serial.

If still can't get it, try reinstall both side bluetooth setting (i mean Adding Device) together with python Bluetooth console. You will notice it takes longer time rather pop up No Serial. try and play arround

did you go to bluetooth module console

if you mean run Python->Options->Bluetooth Console that gives me the "No serial ports found " messenge

is your COM port on computer lower than 10 (the incoming port)

OK problem solved, for some reason the bluetooth incoming port was set to COM10 whenever i tried to add one, after scratching pc suite connectivity and removing - re adding the n95 as a bluetooth device ( and some other things which i don t recall :S ) miraculasly COM 9 was released and used by Niime *WORKED* thankz pipolz :D

from all above i have read i guess that the reason i get no serial port found on bluetooth console of python when i select my laptop is because my incoming port has number over 9.sadly i cant delete the other devices com ports becaue i need them.i shall try nokmote and salling clicker combination refered above.this works with games too?

Well its working great on ROM games. :) Im trying to get it to work with need for speed carbon. i managed to get it to turn left but not the rest. :( Wonder whats wrong.

It works fine with my N95 8GB, BUT:
In LFS i can get only half of the turn on the wheel, so i can't drive through the tight corners. It is because even when i control the cursor in this game, I can't get it to the edges of the screen! Can any1 tell me hot to fix this or how to adjust it?

I have got a little problem. I instal everything and when I wanna choose port (COME 3, COME 13 etc.) the error jumps out. I use Bluetooth USB adapter and BlueSoleil program.

I show hidden COM devices and removed all COM ports. Turn on Bluetooth and activate COM 4.

Open Python on the N95 - "Options>Bluetooth Console"

It still says "No serial ports found". "Connection error".

What can I do?!

I installed N95_RD_Accelerometer, aXYZ3rdN951.02selfsigned, python1.45, PythonScriptShell_1_4_2_3rdEd on my mobile

Next, I installed python-2.5.4_3.msi, wxPython2.8-win32-unicode-2.8.10.1-py25.exe, pywin32-210.win32-py2.5.exe, pyserial-2.2.win32.exe on my Vista Home Premium 32b

Next, I removed all driver bluetooth on my windows and installed Widcomm.Bluetooth.Software.Drivers.5.1.0.1100.Incl .License.Patcher_Guide_WinALL_.by_gurabli

Next, I install NiiMe13bPlay.exe on windows.

I went to my mobile, enable bluetooth; after that open Python program, use Option->Bluetooth console
the program founded my computer, after some time I tried connect to laptop, It's show some script error in Python on 3,4 times; suddenly the python connected success to computer.
I open Niime program and use port COM9 (same the port in bluetooth configuration for Bluetooth Serial Port) and click Connect and OK.

So, in option Mouse and Drums, the program run very perfect and exciting.

But in the other option as Wheel, Play the program didn't run, no action was perform when I rock the mobile in that options.
I was open the notepad and shake the phone, and nothing was happend. I think, in games, it perform the A,S,X,W, etc... so in notepad it will show the characters as A,S,X,W, etc... . But no character was displayed in notepad.

So, anyone can help me for this problem.
