Sim Types:
- Untagged Sims: Shoot these Sims to tag them and earn points.
- Tagged Sims: Sim has been tagged by another Sim. Tag all Sims of one color to turn them into bumpers.
- Completed Sims: All Sims of the same color have been tagged. Shoot completed Sims three times to earn bonus points!
- Undecided Sims: Sims with question marks on them cannot be tagged until a Untagged Sim near them is tagged and influences their color state.
- Mrs. Crumplebottom: Mrs. Crumplebottom will negativly influence any Sims nearby when it they are hit. Use the Spin Device to tag Mrs. Crumplebottom for extra points.

Blocker Materials:
- Blue Blockers: Hit these one time to break them and earn points.
- Green Blockers: Hit these three times to break them and earn twice as many points as the Blue Blockers.
- Purple Blockers: These do not break unless you hit them with Magic Fire. When broken, earn three times as many points as Blue Blockers.
- Steel Blockers: These walls will not break unless you have the blocker breaker boost.
- Rotators: Each time you hit these they will rotate 90 degrees.

Boosts:
Boosts are special single-use items that 'power-up' your shots. There are a total of twelve different boosts available in the game.
- Long Distance: Increases Shot Distance
- Super Tag: Increases Area of Effect on every Sims tagged
- Lob Shot: Lobs shot over obstacles
- Sim Thrust: Jet thrusts Sim around level
- Magnetic Attraction: Atracts & tags Sims
- Wild Shot: Lobs shots wildly & randomly tags Sims
- Block Breaker: Eliminates blockers & walls
- Halo Effect: All Sims are tagged within area of effect
- Multi-Shot: Launches multiple shots
- Scrambler: Removes Mrs. Crumplebottom & blockers touched by the scrambling tornado
- Money Shot: Tags Sims & earns extra points
- Vortex: Tags any Sims passed over

Traps & Obstacles:
- Black Holes: Destroys everything that touches it
- Magic Fire: Sets shots on fire and will burn through any materials it touches except steel blockers
- Spin Device: Bounce shots off of this spinner to tag any color and tag Mrs. Crumplebottom
- Portals: Teleports Sims & shots around the level

Colonial England. The original King's Bounty was released in 1990, and its basic design lead to the creation of the seminal Heroes of Might and Magic series. The Heroes saga gets all of the pub, while King's Bounty is in many ways the forgotten game. 1C, along with American distributor Atari, are bringing it back this winter on the PC and while it resembles Heroes V in many ways, including the 3D graphics and art direction, there are some key differences between the two designs that make King's Bounty: The Legend stand apart.

Most importantly, the action on the overland resource map is in real-time. You and your opponents need to constantly be on the move, gathering resources and visiting important locations. In the Heroes design this would be a management nightmare but in King's Bounty you only control one hero so it's much easier to incorporate real-time resource gathering.

The combat is turn-based and more like Heroes in nature, although summonings are a more integral part of the design. During the E3 presentation, our hero and his army of archers and Ents attacked a boss monster, in this case a giant spider. The spider took up an enormous portion of the map area, dwarfing every other unit in the field and looking fantastic; spider sacs would pop every few turns, unleashing baby spiders which poisoned and pestered the hero's units. After taking a few rounds of damage, the giant spider burrowed under the ground and appeared on a different part of the map, attacking the rear guard archers. The effects were slick, and looked much better than expected from a game that isn't in Beta yet.

Description

Age of Conan (commonly abbreviated as AoC) is an upcoming fantasy-themed massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed by Funcom for PC and the Xbox 360. Funcom has stated the release date is to be March 25, 2008, for the PC version with the Xbox 360 version to follow later in 2008. Age of Conan began internal beta testing in Summer 2006, and opened the beta registration process on April 3, 2007. Hyborian Adventures is the first installment in the planned Age of Conan series that will include expansion packs hinted at on the official forums. The Age of Conan series is set in the Hyborian Age, a fantasy setting created by Robert E. Howard in 1932. Age of Conan itself takes place within the continent of the Hyborian kingdoms,
a year after the events depicted in Howard's sole Conan novel, The Hour of the Dragon. Hyborian Adventures' release will celebrate the 76th anniversary of the Conan franchise.

There is also a slated Age of Conan Fantasy Battle Game in development by Mongoose Publishing and an Age of Conan Strategy Board Game published by Nexus Editrice.

In development since 2003, Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures is an upcoming online action role-playing game based on the Conan the Cimmerian stories written by Robert E. Howard in the early 1930s. The game is being developed for the PC and the Xbox 360 by Funcom, the creators of the science fiction MMORPG Anarchy Online and the adventure game The Longest Journey. While the game appears to be a semi-traditional (Only semi because some of the ways the game actually work, for example it does not have the traditional "click and hotkey" combat system or general exploration system) MMORPG, Funcom prefers using the term "online action RPG" instead.

When first entering the world of Hyboria, the game is divided into two sections: In the first section you can choose if you want to play alone or with other players. At night, the game is a single-player-experience,
while at day it is a multiplayer-experience. Switching between the two is done by sleeping in an inn. This whole first part is done on an island called Tortage. When you reach level 20, you are allowed to leave the island and thus the second section takes the character created during the first portion to a whole new environment. The online world promises to be dynamic, as players may form guilds(player organizations), conquer territories and erect cities which are vulnerable to attacks by humanoid NPCs.

Originally the Tortage-part was going to be a full single-player-experience, but that has now been changed.

One of the primary attractions of Age of Conan is the "Real Combat" system, which promises greater player interaction during combat than previously seen in online role-playing games. The player is able to direct the swings of their character's weapon during combat to attack six separate target zones. Funcom has
stated that this system will be easy to learn even for veteran MMORPG players who are used to "click and wait" combat; however, the specific details of this system have yet to be unveiled. In order to utilize the combat mechanics, the player will use 5 keys; 1, 2, 3, Q, and E. Other features will include battle formations, which impart bonuses to the group using them, and mounted combat, which will also use the "Real Combat" engine.

Funcom is focusing on developing content for the "end game," the time at which characters have reached maximum advancement, rather than the "grind" and promises a fast leveling process. Funcom has also promised the graphic nature of Robert E. Howard's short stories will not be toned down for the game and that they expect Age of Conan
to receive an ESRB rating of Mature due to its content.
