realceday 1st February 2008, 02:33 thank you rep added
Logan1981 1st February 2008, 02:53 Nice thanks.
But four files. When you get to the fourth it says its already installed. Do you overwrite or do we just pick the relevant one from 3 and 4? I'm guessing 3 is for N95 etc. as it has 'FP1' (Feature Pack 1?) written in the name. The 4th file has 'MR' (possibly Motorola?)??
Cheers
rainbow2112 1st February 2008, 03:15 uhm.. But after really hard ( if not impossible) to create the file .cer and download on the site symbiansigned.com directly from the phone
shug 1st February 2008, 09:46 Thanks! Logan guessed correctly- you only need the first three files.
You need opera of course to download the cert and you need to change the file ext. to .CER but otherwise it's as easy as on pc. Rep!

antiseptic 1st February 2008, 13:09 the key file that this soft generates is not working on signsis on my nokia 5700 can any body explain what to do.
i have tested this on my n80 and it works without any problem . . however i don't believe its neccessary to sign using the .key file provided by this app . . . so i suggest you use whatever .key file you had previously.
thelostone 1st February 2008, 13:28 the key file that this soft generates is not working on signsis on my nokia 5700 can any body explain what to do.
It just creates CSR file as is done by DEVCERTREQUEST tool on PC
So finally u need an internet connection (on mobile) and an account on symbiansigned
There u upoad the file (*.csr) and then within seconds, u will receive a DEVCERT (*.cer) .
Earlier this was achived Via PCs only, but now possible on Cellphone..
BUT
You wil have to transfer the recvd cer file to PC and then USE applications to sign files

My friend if atlast we have to go to pc then i think that it is much easy to do this whole process on pc and just transfer it to phone
This soft is just for those who don,t have access to pc
I think this key file is formated in a version that sign sis can,t read but there must be some way to get out of it
biggzy 1st February 2008, 15:19 the .key file it creates works 100% fine, tested and working without any need for pc

I used opera and renamed it to .cer, worked fine for me, u need to use v1.03 signsis, the 1 that says mobilesigner under the menu icon NOT the 1 that says signsis, confusing i know but its worth it
