It has the full instructions to a working Java Emulator instalation! It's IBM J9, posted somwhere on this forum but that one wouldn't work on WM2003 :(

Just tested it on a HP Ipaq H1940 - it works! (unfortunately i couldn't yet make it run completly 3d java games, but i'll manage it soon :) )

To simplify things i've added an archive with the files, just extract the folder to your storage card and execute emulator. exe in the J9/bin/ folder, click instal and enter the location of your jar or jad file like this

file:///storage card/midlet.jar

If you also want an imediate asociation for java and jar files with this baby, then copy regimp.reg on your storage card and exec it if you have instaled resco regedit from resco explorer.

I know where to find java games, but which is working? This for Motorola, Nokia or other? I don't belive that every java game is working, i think only 10% or less, so i asked that someones try and can write or upload working games.

it looks like the suported games are those not using 3d java evironment. i've managed to play some java games like asphalt urban gt and gt 2 (non 3d) diamond rush and a couple more. but there are some games that can't launch :( I am still looking for a beter emulator, but this one seemed the only one working for wm 2003 :( If someone manages to get Esmertec Jbed CDC Java Virtual Machine for Windows Mobile Pocket PCs ( [Only registered and activated users can see links] )

It's terrible expensive, i don;t think so that someone would buy this to playa MIDP 1.0 games which are much worse then dedicated games for ppc or nes/gba etc. emulators...

it has been nice helping you! but got some beter news! I've seen on this forum a thread about a jbed java emulator that works on WM2003! That is even better!!! Can't wait to try it on my H1940! If i will find it again... :D

File corrupted, please repost the file cause I have been searching this Java emulator for my HP iPAQ 6365 pocket PC Windows Mobile 2003 for so long. I hope this will works on my device to play some Java or J2ME apps & games. Thanks !

Now this IBM J9 Java Emulator Virtual Machine has installed in my Pocket PC Windows Mobile 2003 HP iPAQ h6365 device.

My device has able to install some Java Apps & Games through this emulator but my big problem is, why those Java Apps & Games are unable to run into my device ? Is there any something that I missed ? It Always appears some notification when I'm always try to lunch Java Apps or Games from this emulator, that notifications are "The ........ Midlet failed to lunch". :afraid: What should I do then ? Thats because this emulator is very limited. It will run opera mini and simple MIDP 1.0 games. Anything above MIDP 1.0 wont work.

No, you're wrong ! Java MIDP 1.0 and Java MIDP 2.0 are won't work too in this emulator but it only just able to install it, but won't run. Is there any solutions about this emulator to make java apps & games work into my device ? Thanks before !!!
