My request is to get a full version of Webgate Advanced Device locks. I Tried to work with the version found here in IPmart but couldn't manage to get the Certificate file in symbian signed website. I was given a message like "You are not eligable for this, please contact with the Administrator" while trying to make the certificate file....help me if possible or get me an application that can protect my private files.......

IVCM is the best (IMHO), but you also need to sign it in order to make it full. I didn´t tried Total Recall but I suggest you to try this call and SMS manager;

It´s pretty good... And you don´t have to sign it.

I’m interested in software Simbian OS 9.1 for my E 50.
I want a program divert that can block one or all my contacts. A program that could view me as a switch off mode, but i can see who is calling at the moment. Let’s practice what i am saying: One of my contacts is calling to me and the operator says his off line, but at that moment a see who is calling, and i choose to answer or not !

Or a sofware that the "caller" do not hear the suond of ringing in his ear. Or it can take a lot of seconds to her the ringing sound in his ear, but i can see who is calling at the moment , and my phone stars to ring!

I need this software for meeting conference, ect..

Unfortunately, I am not 100% sure but I will say I don´t know for such an application... There were some apps for OS 6.7.8 (Symbianware had PowerCar f.e.) but nothing yet for S60 3rd edition...

you can do this manually here's how:
fill your tank full.
write down your total KM/miles or use your internal
car computer to calculate how much you traval
from now on.
drive
on the next refuel reduce the number of total KM/miles traveled
by the number you wrote before. this gets you the total KM/miles
you traveled since last refueling.
get the number of gallons/liters of fuel that got into your car from the pump
and do this map to calculate your km/miles per gallon/liter:

amount traveled/fuel filled (that's the amount your car consumed since the last fill) = km per liter or miles per gallon

you're welcome.
I'm not sure how a cellphone software can do it...

U r right. Malaysia is there. As I said, it's one of the best gps programs for N95 since the map coverage is pretty good. It can drill down to the street level where I live. None of the other gps programs for N95 can top that, not even the NavFone Pro. Unfortunately if u want to use its voice navigation you have to pay. Voice download is free. The simulation is free of course.

baa give me a break. Trend Micro is a beta (we don't want my little brend new cuty cellphone to bluescreen right?). it's an antivirus, firewall (I'm NOT going to mess around with popups for damn little thing I do. Symbian ins't as widespread as windows yet and as such doesn't warrent such a security hassle yat for poor lil users like myself Innocent smily here), sms spam filter, makes you coffee in the morning and call your doctor automatically if you didn't feel like drinking it one morning!

I would love to see a GPS Golf Application, like Sky Caddy for the internal GPS of the N95. Something that would keep track of score, distance and show the obstacles ahead of your current gps position on the hole... like distance to the front of green/back of the green, water hazards or bunkers ahead...

I've seen several such applications for PPC/PDA and external GPS devices, but nothing that fully and properly supports the N95 gps.

I like to create a shortcut to invoke the idle.exe file, how do I achieve that such that I'll see an icon in my application folder or at least make it selectable in the applications list?

I need this so that I can return to the "idle" or active standy screen after firing up other application. I'm using a scheduler to fire up applications, but they stay open - I want to "minimize" them or send them to the background.

Any such utility tool or an easy way to create file short-cut?

This is my first request here for the application. I am not sure if there exists such kind of software in S60 v3 mobile.

One of my friend envys my game collection very much and ask me to send the Jar to her mobile via bluetooth. However, the file just can not be sent.

I wonder if there is any software that can transfer the Jar file from my mobile to another mobile by bluetooth. I have tried to transfer the Jar file by bluetooth from the file manager in my mobile, however, the system forbid the file transfer by saying "can not send the protected file".

Any luck that we have such great application in S60 v3?

help plz

i have :cry:Advanced device locks and :cry:advanced call manager installed in my N73 and thier K*ygen but i couldnt find the way to register !!

when i select [activate] in the program menu it tries to access the net

I think F-Secure cannot be used as for upgrading you need a valid subscription code which is checked over the net during the update...
There are many othe anti virus softare you can use...

Hi there!
Just wonder if someone know a software who can turn off the mobile after a specified time.
Example, if I listen to the radio on the night, I want the mobile to shutdown after an hour.
Anyone know if this type of software exist to the symbian OS 9.1?

I am looking for an application for my E60 which is able to monitor call charges. I remember this functionality was part of several older Series 40 phones: you could set calls unit fees and the phone calculated usage charges by monitoring call usage (minutes on the call).
Now I have a company phone that I can use and it would be great to know if I am over the limit or not. Do you know an app for this function?
Any help would be appreciated :)

Is there any software that stores the database of Missed calls, Received calls and dialled calls. Like we can't see the time if any single person calls 3 or 4 times, then we can only see the last time of that call. I want to see such a software that even counts the missed call like how many seconds the mobile was ringing for a single missed call... each n every single time of a missed call or receive call or dial call......

You can use the inbuilt active standby mode...
Go to tools---setting---display---standby settings---select the apps you want as shortcuts on the desktop of your phone...

About the caller id it is network dependent...
No such app or setting to hide the caller id...

I'm lookin for an app to make changing this settings able from desktop - I can't assign shortcut to this setting...

It's not possible. Nokia don't allow shortcuts to any part of their apps, just the apps themselves. Try putting Settings in your main menu (2nd row middle). Goto idle then click menu then press 5 - follow on from there. ;)

You are correct mate but some network operators dont allow this function to be used...
Eg...

Sorry to hear that mate. I know Office has a limit on filesizes (like PDF) of 5MB if I'm correct. There are other apps like QuickOffice so try looking on Handango etc and download a trial. ;)

Doesn't exist. ExportLog does what it says, exports your phone log to your PC.

As for AV, there are a few out there so search for them but there is NO current viruses of OS9.1 so no point having one. Just be careful when getting files via Bluetooth.

Well nt_virus I'am not going to ask for application but have question based on the application. first of all I use N73 and I have so many application on it, but lately about this two days when I was trying to activate mass storage, there is always message displayed telling " unable to activate mass storage mode. memory card is in used by other application"....application that I add recently are: papyrus, FSCaller, Media safe and Callman. I did already turn off and exiting all the application before activating mass storage, but no use, can you help me please

Hello...i'm looking for Blackberry connect for Nokia N73...there is no original file because they put a check in the files for the software version in order to work only with E series...but does someone has a version that works on N series?

Dont think it exits for N-Series phone...
As you said there is a check in the files so that they work only on E-Series handsets...
