Hey Guys, please help me out here. I have been searching for a working copy of TT6 for my att tilt/htc Kaiser. Its a WM6 device, and all I want is the TomTom software with maps of New England. Please someone take me under your wing and help me out. I used the search feature and came up empty handed big time. I am on a mac also, so that might make things a little more complicated. As long as you direct me towards .cab files, I think I will be alright. Please help.

It depends what you have installed. Maybe one of your applications is causing the fault?

1: Back up your files using PIMBACKUP, Hard reset and then install your chosen applications one by one and see which one is causing the problem?

2: Use Sprite Backup to make a full backup, then hard reset and use the SAFE restore mode. This should restore everything except the bugs :)

3: Look at the startup folder (windows/startup) and see if there are applications there you do not want to load at startup. Maybe one of those is the problem?

I use PimBackup, I also use Sprite backup AND I like to keep a ZIP backup of my start-menu and my-documents folders.

Before you go ahead and hard reset your machine or something similar, please PM me and we can discuss a little more if you need more help or are unsure.

DO NOT Hard reset unless you are SURE you have kept everything you need, losing data sucks!!!

that phone has very less internal memory .

I've checked my memory...and the storage memory used is almost full.....

Space it's taken by messages, contacts, calendar and notes, temporary internet files.
So, delete all you'll find in those temp folders (NOT the folders), history, cookies and sometimes, some residing help files from Windows folder...
If you have Spb Pocket plus installed, remove / transfer the themes from your Windows folder to your storage card.

You can use MemMaid (search it and you'll find here)...

probably you mean soft reset. hard reset deletes all user data: programs & files (registry, contact, etc.

devices shipped with wm2003 normally would lose data after hard reset or when external battery depletes because data & programs are stored in RAM as opposed to ROM in WM5 & WM6 devices. only exception is the himalaya, folks at buzzdev were able to use the extended rom of the himalaya to storae data!

Hi Everyone, I have installed the majority of the GPS tuner applications to my XDA Orbit...versions 4.5, 5.0, 5.1, 5.1 b, c, d, e......
However it runs ok, browsing through options but as soon as it asks you to configure the gps it starts loading then freezes the whole unit which usually needs the "battery pull out" option to restart the XDA.
Even when you configure it manually it does the same.
Does anyone else have this problem?

I have one BIG problem. I played with my PPC (Eten M600+) and it froze up and now system wont star up. When I presss reset (or when i remove batery) PPC star with main screen (Eten logo, system version, date of version etc.) but afther few second I got only white screen and there is nothing else I can do. It would be great if there is a way without formating memory, but if it will be necessary.......

It would be great if there is a way without formating memory, but if it will be necessary.......

Bought an Eten Glofiish X800 for one week. Everything OK except the RAM. I tried to use it for navigation but it does not work with Igo, Miomap, neither with TomTom. It says "Memory Full" and crashes. After soft reset I have 20 Mb of RAM but after one day of normal use only 15 Mb (no programs running in the back acording to Task Manager or WisBar Advance). The solution is to NOT use pre-paid sim-cards, IMO :exactly: :hahaha2:
I'd experienced this problem in Dubai, but after my girl there ditch the pre-paid (as me i'm not using pre-paid), it's all ok...

EXE files need to be opened in your PC, dude !!!
Zip / RAR / Ace archives need to be decompressed IN YOUR PC BEFORE install something in your device !

Is there any program that scans radio antennas (GSM-3G etc) and according to antenna changes the profile.
So if it detects the antenna near your job auto change the profile to "vibration" and when you go home and detects the antenna there auto change the profile to "home".

my friends also used 838pro but his device is with WM6... it got one application called 'Internet Sharing'... and can connect to internet via USB using this Internet Sharing application... it's very easy, just plug the USB cable to the device and select internet sharing.. then the device stating connected and in a few second the PC will be connected to the internet.........
do i need to upgrade my device to WM6 or someone can help me to install the Internet Sharing application? or can someone can teach how to do it with my WM6 devices?

they correct some roads but they still haven't the villages (name of road and number)

iGuidance has TTS, it uses Navteq map. If you like tele atlas map (tomtom uses teleatlas map) then try iGo or MioMap.

With a program like SKTOOLS (search the forum for that)

You can also set your phone to work as a card reader then format from the PC (fat32)

You can also use a real card reader and format it that way.

I think Kaspersky can block SMS lol
Though the best bet is to use Call SMS Blocker v2.3.2.722 ([Only registered and activated users can see links] ) or some other app :P
