Hi everyone! Please help me with this, I can't install any windows operating system in my 2nd pc. first it can't access the windows setup so ive decided to plug its hard drive in my 1st pc. i formatted all of its content and plug it again in my 2nd pc. I've boot up the windows xp sp2 cd and it enter the windows setup, the worse part is that the windows xp cd can't be read in the computer (it says NTLDR is missing or .sys or nfo files can't be read )but it can be read in my 1st computer. So i decided to reformat my 3rd computer using that windows xp cd, in that case the windows xp cd worked. So i think its the cd-rom drive in the second computer, so i plug the cd-rom drive of my 1st computer to the 2nd computer but it didn't worked out. So what do you think the problem guys? Is it the motherboard? I change the IDE cable, the ram and also the hard drive. But it didn't work out. And also there is a time when i enter the setup that chooses me to reformat the drive. I tried to reformat it but at the end, it says the HDD is corrupted or broken and windows setup can't continue. But when i plug it to my 1st computer it can be reformatted and also i can copy and install any files from that hard drive that the 2nd computer says its corrupted..
Thanks for reading. Hope you can help me. Sorry for bad english..

Have you check the jumper settings?
If you plug HDD and CD on a single IDE cable be sure to specify which is Primary and Secondary. Do not use Cable Select because sometimes it has problem detecting it thats why it gives you some errors.

hi thanks for the quick reply. yup, i've check it already. and the BIOS auto detect feature said that my HDD is the primary master and the primary slave is the cd-drive. the jumper settings of the HDD is on the Primary master and the cd-drive is on the primary slave. I just can't figure it out why i cant install due to the "can't read file" while in the other computer with the same cd-drive didnot come up with ANY error.. thanks..

additional info:
after loading the files thru the windows setup the blue screen appear saying "bad_config_info, so i replaced the ram from my other computer. and then i boot it again, the files can't all load successfully, like .sys or .nfo is corrupted again but sometyms there is a chance that it will all load but it stops on "Starting windows". any ideas guys?

There are too much complications with your computer. I suggest to bring it to a PC shop so that they can burn-test the unit.
