Thank you for this great piece of work.
I have just installed it on Mobile XT and works fine.
I have to report however that there are some charts missing from the Bluechart. For instance if you go to the port of Ydra you will not find the details that you are supposed to.
This is quite common to ammit some details when you select a large area with Mapsource Map tool.
Looking forward to seeing a revised version.

In Garmin mobile xt you have the possibility to load four maps. the names of the maps are the following:
1)gmapprom.img (map of your choise)
2)gmapsupp.img (map of your choise)
3)gmapsup2.img (map of your choise)
4)gmapbmap.img (map which is usually the genaral world map provided by garmin)

Each map can be a 3in1 or 5in1 map or whatever you want. So all you have to do is rename your second map in gmapprom.img or gmapsup2.img. Ofcourse rememder to rename the .unl files also

Make a .txt file, put the key in it, and after with cmd, rename it to .unl.

In Garmin you can put only 3 maps. If you put autodrive, bluechart, anavasis separate, you can't put another map. So if you put the 3-1 map, you can put 2 more maps.

If you put 3 separate maps you must make two .unl files (anavasis is unlocked)
If you put 3-1 map you must make one .unl file which will contain the 2 keys (50 digits)

For example if the first unlcock code (autodrive with mad id = 822) is PCA3KUE328W3MKFQY6M94XJBX
and if the second one (bluechart 2008 with map id = 295) is 4EAWFQX2QNV9S7C7AKXJ64C3W

The .unl which will you make must be PCA3KUE328W3MKFQY6M94XJBX4EAWFQX2QNV9S7C7AKXJ64C3W

Well, you have to choices:
First one, if you are lucky, use the app provided, named MapSource Fix.
Second one, if you are not so lucky, you will have to delete everything and clean manually the registry, deleting everything related to garmin, mapsource, anavasi, i mean everything. Good luck. :D:

What are you talking about? Here it is screenshots from mapsource with SCG v1.8. It seems to me like it is very detailed. Maybe you have to change some settings. It has POI too, and for others try at poiplaza.com, it's free database.

Please someone help me. I installed garmix XT on my nokia n85 but when I open the application from the applications menu it just doesn't open. I also tried garmin version 5 and again it started opening but it threw me back to the main menu of the nokia.

Garmin recognize three names without the one for basemap (gmapbmap)
gmapsupp
gmapsup2
gmapprom
So, change the name map you have in your device and send the second map witch will have by default the name : gmapsupp.

Version 5.00.00 is voice guided, voices are in E/Garmin/Voices. If you downloaded a version without greek voice, download Aristothelhs2060 from the second post :

In "View Map" selection shows me normal on the road,but when i try to calculate the route,it appears that message!

Help me please! I have Noka E66 with Garmin XT mobile 5.00. When I start transfer the .img file "incorrect parameter" message is appear.
I rename the .img file to gmapprom and make .unl file with the same name because I have 2 maps already loaded.
I also don't understand how to extract the files in these two links in one file. Are there two equal files in the links?

Ok, you use SCG 1.80, but you actually are in Serbia or in another place and try to make a route to it? And where reported some problems with this version, many people have downgraded to v1.70. You should do that to.

At first you did OK, and at the end you did all wrong.The sw.unl has just 25 numbers, is made just for unlock the app, to unlock the map you have to add those numbers to gmapsupp.unl file. That file has to have 100 numbers.

But i can not have two gmapsupp.img files so it can not be that i need to put unlock for map which is gmapsupp.img and gmapsup2.img into gmapsupp.unl.

Ok, i understood now, but it seems that problem from beggining was that i was using map id 822 instead 821 for eng version so key gens were wrong.

But one more question it is not asking me anymore or unlock code since it seams that it accepted it, but in map data folder in aplication i do not see that auto drive 1.5 id 821 is listed. Since my Europe map is covering Greece could it be they are overlaping, and should it be listed in map folder in application anyway?

I will try to delete Europe and to put just Greece in order to see is it going to be listed then?

Yes it should. Do try deleting Europe and if you still see Greece when browsing map, you're good. Not sowing in application map list is another discussion.

What map ID did you use for unl files? Be careful, the english version of the map have different ID from the greek version. If you have mapsource installed, you can use greece from City Navigator 2009 v11, it's accurate enough. You are right, the mapsource version of Autodrive doesn't work the "find" function.

I used the 821 for the english version. I don't think that's the problem because I install it fine with the Mapsource version.

You did OK. The img format has the "find" function, you're right. I don't know if the CNE version is better, but look, Hungary now it's like Naviguide Hungary, so i think you will be safe. :D:

If the unl file it's the right one, without txt extension, than yes, you did OK. Like i said, look at the screenshot, is from city Larisa, Greece, street level, house number coverage.

nice news for hungary map.However u could have made an other topic for this new map.

I finally managed to solve the problem after hours of trying. I post what I did in case that someone has a similar problem with an Ique and this map..

1) It seems that the ique reads only gmapsupp.img files in its card and that also it doesnt read .unl files. So you need to upload an unlocked map.
2) img2gps does the job, but the gmapsupp.img you get is like the mapsource version. You can use it, but you cannot use the find function.
3) The solution came with GMapTool. Load the map there, insert your unlock code and then choose "write". The new unlocked map can be used in your Ique (after renaming it in gmapsupp) and the Find works like a charm.

PS Many thanks to ioji for all the interest he showed these past few days. Unofortunately the .unl no matter what, could not be read by the ique.

I 've installed Garmin Mobile XT S60v4.10.60 on my N95, and 3 to 1 maps. It works properly but I have problems when I try to load gpx files into it. I load them, I hit ok on the message "incoming tracks etc", but when I try to make the settings on every track (... display on map, edit etc.) I see misshapen screens. Can anybody help me please?

Why v.4.10.60? The latest version is out, v.5.00.10, and it works fine. Try it, it might fix your problem.

Guys I need some serious help.
When I update baseline and detailed maps using anavasi 3.75 (and other versions as well) I get a large number of .img files which are NOT recognizable as garmin files by any program. (cgpsmapper can not compile them to one file). Is there some special coding used by anavasi? How can I create the gmapsupp.img or a file recognizable by mapsource using these files? I need that info to create files with custom detail from anavasi for my pda (I run mobile XT v5).

A request for next time: please compress or enclose the img inside a RAR or ZIP file, that way we can verify the integrity of the img file. Or, can you give us the MD5 checksum for the img file, please?

(if you include it in a RAR file, you can also encrypt the filenames and content and avoid RS.com deletion)

Also, please explain to us the difference between the two links you've posted. Are they the same 3-in-1 file (v3.80)?

hello! i have nokia n95 and garmin xt 5.00!
When i install the program i have a map under the name "gmapbmap" wich is the basemap of garmin,after i install from mapsource the maps i need and have the name "gmapsupp", and now i try to install the 3 in 1 under the name "gmapsupp2" but doesnt appear in the program!
I have a file gmapsupp2.unl with the key like that "ARYL82JUCYGTAEY9LD4UZWJ5BQAWFZ9VZLRVZUTH8KHJYR4ZKZ" is that right?
how i have to name the maps to work alltogether?

Paidia i need some help.. I have Nokia 6210 Nav.I have updated garmin and have version 5.02 at the moment with the following files: gmapbmap.img, gmapprom.img, gmapsupp.img gmapprom.unl, gmapsupp.unl, sw.unl.....
the gmasupp is the greek maps and the gmapprom is the latest cyprus map...when i ovveride the gmasupp the post from venduza the file which is 104 somehting MB is quite slow untill it starts and when it starts it asks for a code.. when i put the latest map 3 in 1 when i look in greece only major roads appear.. any suggestions what to do??? !

Just want to share my expirence with somebody who is familiarized with
Autodrive Hellas.
I used program Universale Extractor to extract exe file.
After that I used gmapprom img in Main folder on such way:
I used Gmaptool program and split gmapprom img in its essential
files.
After that, I tried Mapsetoolkit to install Autodrive Hellas in Mapsource.
At first I was happy to see Autodrive Hellas on chart list, but unfortunatelly,
it can't be opened.
Can anybody explain me, what is the problem and is there a solution.

searching works only with english characters.this is due to europe city navigator map.u wont have greek characters even if you disable this one.

thats what i mean my friend.select all rar files with winrar and then select extract here. you will have the .txt file. then rename it to gmapsupp.img (not txt)

before software installation delete all previous garmin files in storage card and device, even dll files in windows forder with names starting with letters"QUE" , except maps .

Erase all maps that are in the Garmin directory. If will remain only the program, Garmin will start and you will see the esp code

georgechios, s' euxaristo gia ton kopo sou kai tous xartes!

I used to use Garmin 4.10.80... but this map doesn't work! The application isn't opening at all.

I installed Garmin 5.0.20 and this map seems to work, but the 5.0.20 version runs really slowly on my N95 8GB! The applications seems to stuck when I try to zoom in/out on the map and when it tries to recalculate the route!
Does anyone knows whats wrong?

I have Garmin Mobile XT version 5.00.20 and Autodrive 1.60, Anavasi 3.90 and Blue chart 2008 maps on my MIO C320b. Everything work fine but I can't see the height of the mountains and the depth of the sea. I tried all the settings in Garmin but with no success. Any suggestions?

I have program version 4.0.80 and adh 1.25.I tryied to upgrade program version 5.0.20 and map 1.60 .
Copy paste bew Garmin file and new .sis installation.Then copy paste new map.Everything was working exept navigate.If i tried to give destination no voice and a straigth line to the destination.
When there is no destination the streets are clearly dispayed pois etc.
Now i have the old program version and the new map.
Everything is ok but i would like to have the new program version.
Can someone tell me what is the problem?
I guess that must have new code for the map but the map is viewable.

Yeah man it works.
Just follow instructions and correctly make the unlock codes for internal gps (SW.unl) and map (gmxxxxx.unl)
gmxxx.unl should have the same name with the map you are going to use.

If map is named GMAPPROM.IMG then unlock file should be GMAPPROM.UNL

I have moved over to Garmin from TomTom as I have a Symbian S60v3(Nokia E51 and a Nokia 6210 Classic) and we don't currentlly have options for software and maps beyond a couple of year ago I just found out today from here.

The only problem I am having with Garmin Mobile XT is that is seems to kill my battery on my phone even when I am not running Garmin at the time.

When I put my other memory card in without Garmin Mobile XT my battery lasts for a few days but with Garmin Card in it lasts about 24hrs. I have run this with different cards including the original Nokia memory card and a SanDisk.

Any ideas what may be causing this?

but don't know how to create the 2 serials (id 822 / 295) in ONE unl file.. that's what i have to do, right? βοηθεια!

check the first page and look for the key generator .there are files to help you there

i had an older keygen (v.1.1, thanks for the newer) but again couldn't done it. i know the process, but can't understand how one image with 3 maps (2 with ID's and one unlocked) to have one *.unl ! i write the codes in a notepad with space or enter between them? don't know what else to think..

Hello, i have installed the 3 in 1 map, however the map is in Greek, and i do not understand were can i find the mapset to read the map in English...
My phone does not support Greek, and thus i cannot search places this way... (or can i? )

Aris, the search is in English or in Greek?

with europe nt 2009 it must be english because (city navigator europe is english).if deactivated it must be greek due to autodrive greek.please tell me if you have any probs.

To be honest i am a bit confused with all this links and explanations..

How can we deactivate a map? As you are saying Aristoteli "if deactivated it must be greek due to autodrive greek"

this one you downloaded has autodrive 1.60 greek version.thats why search works in greek only.and yes there is autodrive 1.60 english so the 3 to 1 search is in english.

as for the deactivation you can see what maps you have by going to tools->data management -> mapsets.then press mapsource button.uncheck which map you dont want.then press ok.

Or are there just previous versions in 1? Because i go in the first page and i cant find exactly the same but in english...

the names may be the same. but the mapids for autodrive 1.60 greek and english differ.so you can understand if its english from there.

the map is 185 mb anyway.and it shouldnt be 1.9gb. it has all the maps reffered but not the whole city navigator europe or whole bluechart Atlantic. i say ti has only Greece and Cyprus areas. as i check now names dont appear on mapsource (dont know why) but they are inside the map.

lazare the europe map has ONLY greece region!so its not 1,6 giga.

Dear friends, help me please. Aristotelhs2060 writes that Anavasi 391 and some other programs do not need to be unlock, and as far as I understand it is enough to put 6in 1 to Garmin PC directory in my PC it would work. But in vain. I see all maps that i put in the GarminMobile PC and "can't unlock maps using unit id 2090087760". In "maps set" I see "*Detailed map D:/GarminMobilePC" and "Build in maps D:/GarminMobilePC"
I tried to unlock maps according to the instruction and Grmin keymaker 1.3, 1.5 and again the same picture :(. Tell me what is wrong!!! Give please your ideas.Toponavigator works the same PC very good and I am not newcomer to PC. Thank you
