The two links includes Garmin Xt s60 4.10.60 with 3 greek maps merged to 1 file
The 3 merged maps are the below
1. Autodrive Hellas 1.25 with full coverage of Greece , from major Cities to small Villages with greek fonts
2. Anavasis 3.43. It has better coverage than autodrive (even very small streets) but with bad routing & with english fonts
3.Blue chart Atlantic . it is for the sea.

As a default choise are checked all 3 maps , but if you want to choose only one you can make it by setting/data manager / maps / mapsource.
If both maps are checked only the autodrive is in front and from the others you can see only some POI , hight of the mountains and the depth of the see.
In my opinion you should better choose only Autodrive Hellas

The application is tested by me to a Nokia N95 8GB , and it works fine

if this is your first install extract the exe file with winrar. Run first the Main.msi and then the setup.exe

Look like you are talking about AutoDriveHellas.
Even the map you have posted is with Greek Fonts some information will probably be useful for others too:
- which is the last version of AutoDriveHellas - 1.25?
- those interested probably already have above mentioned version (with english fonts) downloaded as *.img. Some (as myself) I also have it in MapSource format - obtained with some regedit play. Still, FIND function does not work. Is it possible (hopefully from a Greek user) to have the full MapSource CD Image uploaded?
- Same problem with Anavasi map (also looks that you have mentioned it in your post) - FIND does not work.

Indeed FIND function works great BUT ONLY on Mobile XT, not on MapSource. I succeeded to have both AutoDrive Hellas 1.25 and Anavasi Map on my card (I will only keep AutoDrive as Anavasi looks to be more TOPO than AUTO) but I want to have it working with MapSource too. That's why I have asked for a complete application which will also work on MapSource.

No idea about Vista, both Anavasi&AutoDrive works fine on XP as well as with Garmin Mobile XT. Looks that AutoDrive is better as ROAD map and Anavasi as OFF-ROAD map.

YOU DON'T NEED TO SIGN THE APPLICATION .
INSTALL IT , Follow the instuction which are include it in the rar file and ready for use

i mean the pc map not the mobile which works ok.all maps i have found in exe format are normally seen by vista.but no anavasis which is folder with a reg file.

As advised in an earlier posts looks that for driving AutoDrive is better. Not tested personally but the info has also been posted by one of the Greek users.
Anyway, looks that Greece is one of the very few countries which has 2 Garmin compatible maps. Good for them!

so because they are merged files you will write the 2 keys you will get from the keygen to the same GMAPSUPP.UNL file , without space between them

First of all the unl file must have exactly the same name with the map .
Secondly , to the keygen in order to get the correct key for the map you should also put to the keygen and your unit ID or ESN number ( you can see it to about)

Thank you for the help. I managed to track the problem.
My text editor, put a (hidden) space (null $00) between the 2 copied serials.
I think it saved as "unicode". I fixed it by using the plain notepad.

btw, is there any link with the autodrive with latin chars ?

Just load it into Mapsource ,put your phone in Mass Storage mode and connect it to your PC,copy the map to your device.
If you are using a phone with a MMC just take it out and connect it to your PC with a card reder.

Referring to AutoDriveHellas, 1.25 - last version...
In MapSource indeed the button "find places' does not work. Still, you can do search in Mobile Xt without any problem.
Meantime, even in MapSource you can do a 'trick' - go to find/find nearest places and there you may type anything you like to search - the only problem is that searching will be only in a radius of 256 Km form the center of map in that moment, so you should be at a distance less than 256 Km in order to get the correct results.

Take the files from the link provided by rbskotland. All the instructions ar in there. There is a file that does the registry entries for you. You only have to make sure you install in the right location and you have to use keygen 1.3 to unlock the map.

Try typing just two letter: EL
You will find it...ELLADA (as name) is from CNE, if only AutoDrive is installed might appear as ELLAS or ELLINIKI DIMOKRATIA. All are the same, just the name is different

With N95 Internal GPS works fine are you sure that you have put the correct serial .

I read the instruction file, i made all the stuff with the unlock code (same way as i did unlocking the internal gps of my phone), i transfered the unl file to the sd card along with the Autodrive map, (as i downloaded it from rapidshare), but when i turn on the application it says that the map is locked an i must give the unlock code....So, i have nothing more than the basic map working.....
So, someone please tell me what i did wrong.

Finaly the anavasis map 3.5 can calculate the route if you choose from the settings the shortest route and NOT the fastest. Also eventhough this map is with latin fonts you can still search in Greek but only if you still have the autodrive hellas installed to your phone

this is a zip file ,and because i have split it , it has this extension . in order to open it you have to download both files and you just run the file with the zip extension.
After that you will not face any problem

Try to change the coding. It may help. However this is a bit strange. Try to open the txt file to another computer. Something is wrong here and it is not the file!

Yes with the programm poiloader , you can adjust what ever you want , you can find it to the first page

I have a problem with the (FIND) function. I cant find an address. I find (EΛΛΑΔΑ) because it shows and check it up (if i try to write it says not found) next it shows me a few cities (that i dont understand why to show only a few cities, how it decides what to show) and when i try to write the name of the city i get again not found... This is the 3.5.0 edition but with latin characters. That we need is with greek characters and if someone managed to download the maps using the Toponavigator into a garmin device we want that .img file from the device. Probably will be with Greek characters.

firstly i try to mount this img file with disk utility (i use a mac ) the error message was unsupported format!! no prob i suposed that mac doesn't recognise this img.

If you have the .img file try to load it in Mapsource using (Mapset Toolkit v1.32 together with cgpsmapper).

You will waste your time. AutoDriveHellas can not be transformed from .img to Mapsource format. It keeps sayng layer o empty.
But somwhere on this thread there was a link to a mapsource version.

Indeed, you need some registry editing but is very simple. Read the ReadMe.txt inside the zip file and follos the instructions.

try to switch your phone language to english not greek(that's what my phone wanted to make it work properly)

It cant be opened as demo..programm needs code to open..

just put a random code and the application will start in demo Mode , you will be able to see the map but you will not be able to edit the map and transfer it to the GPS . Check this please.

try after unistalling the program to make A REGISTRY CLEAN , and check to the directory which were installed , if still there are any files. if this don;t work too , i will upoad the iso image as i told you

I think they use robots what serch for banned words.

Maybe if you renamed the map files without the words autodrive or anavasi?

first are you sure that you have replace all the new files
second try to give different names to the maps , i have named the maps as below and it works fine
GMAPBMAP (THE DEFAULT GARMIN MAP)
GMAPSUPP (AUTODRIVE HELLAS
GMAPPROM (ANAVASIS)

I replaced all the files and i also renamed the maps as well but lastly the only map that works to my phone with v80 is autodrive by itself. I noticed that the app doesn't start whenever i put anavasi map into the garmin folder by itself or by the 3 in 1 img.

να ανοιξω την εφαρμογη . Στην συνεχεια ,χωρις να κλεισω
το Garmin,μεσω file manager επανεφερα τα αρχικα ονοματα GMAPSUPP.IMG,GMAPSUPP.UNL.
Και αυτο ηταν ,η εφαρμογη με τον ενσωματωμενο,Auto Drive,Ανάβαση ανοιξε κανονικα .

Δοκιμασα το ιδιο για τον BlueChart χωρις επιτυχια ομως

If you have a garmin unit , it would be better for you to use TOPO , it has much better coverage (in Creta according to my experience but i believe in all Greece too).

This map is not works !! re paidia aytos doyleyh nai h oxi.

Finally...

Uninstalled the 60 version, deleted the GARMIN folder from memory card and put the new GARMIN folder. I manually created new unl files (with 1.3 key) for anavasis and autodrive maps, put the images and the unl files into GARMIN folder and.. the program WORKED in its new 80 version !!!!

I don't know this map but probalby it is not routable - so you can not use it for navigation - just to see where you are.

Thank you , I overcome this by import Auto drive 1.25, now its ok. But when I import anavasis (via MapSource) this map take the place of auto 1.25. So every time I try to import a third map this take place of the second so I have always two maps , one generic europe from garmin application and the second (auto or anavasis). I can not put 3 maps in the same setup.
Can someone describe the img and unl's files that have in route directory of /Garmin and their contents of them.

So every time I try to import a third map this take place of the second so I have always two maps , one generic europe from garmin application and the second (auto or anavasis). I can not put 3 maps in the same setup.
Can someone describe the img and unl's files that have in route directory of /Garmin and their contents of them.

Anybody that has old AutodriveHellas in english can update to 1.30 en, from the official site, here:

Here are the steps (verified by me):
- take a memory stick
- create a folder Garmin inside
- put in the Garmin folder version 1.25 of ADHen in GMAPSUPP.IMG format
- also put file GMAPSUPP.UNL
- download update from page above. Save to desktop
- with memory stick (created as above) inserted in PC run the update.
- as windows keep opening (in Greek) always select Bolded (middle) button
- in the end you will get brand new 1.30 map named GMAPSUPP.IMG (old one is replaced)
- then you transfer to phone (rename, etc.)
Previous UNL code remains valid (Or create new one, Map ID 821).

i have used paypal , i think is the safest way to make your payments.
The registration is a little bit complicated but then it will be very easy to make a payment through paypal

i have just merged autodrive hellas 1.30 and anavasis 3.50 to one file , it works fine with the version 4.10.80 but i want to test it first with a route too if it works fine i will upload it immediatelly

unfortunatelly it has a bug. the route works fine you can route to the pois to recently finds(prosfates eyreseis), but when you want to search , it can not find Greece.
Genarally if you have a ready address it works , but if you want to find an address you can not because it can not find greece

... it can not find Greece...

City Navigator NT - with scandinavian (Norway, Sweeden, Finnland and Denmark), Spain, Portugal - Blue Chart Atlantic ver 8.5 with Norway sea chart ( from Trondheim to Spitsbergen )FAN and finally Greece software for road navigation Anavasi 3.50 - and beleve me - fabulous function - i am on the sea now - and the BC 850 works fine. Road and mountain work fine too. unbelievable, but true.

I have the ADH 130 now on my Colarado 300 works well thankyou only had it a week

I have the Anavasi 3.50 on my GPSMAP76CSx my old unit I was going to sell

Strange thing happens ADH 1.30 works on both units
BUT Anavsi will only work on the older GPSmap76CSx I would have thought the new unit would be able to do all the old one does but it can not

If any one is looking to buy the Colarado dont bother untill they sort it out The GPSmap 60 or 76CSX does everthing better
The only good point I have for the Colarado is the GPX points for Geocahing It is marvelous for that but if you do not cache the either the 60 or 76 is better (They have exactly same sofware just a different shape case) choose choose on how you want to hold it I like 76 no anntenna and it floats

How to unlock ALL garmin maps in one go

a program called Garmin Unlocker its safe I use it all the time
It will unlock ALL MAPSOURCE maps and UNLOCK them for PC and YOU CAN TRANSFER them to any device I use it it on my Nokia N95 Garmin GPSmap 76CSx and Colarado 300
Its on the UK based garmin forum [Only registered and activated users can see links]

I dont know how it works but it is so simple You get 2 files in the download One is garmin unlocker the other is All a batch file drop them in to the garmin folder on the PC you double click the All and it runs unlocking all maps
it may take a while if you have a lot but when you install a new map dont put in serial just run all and it unlocks in seconds you can use it each time you add a new map it only runs on the unlocked maps it saves making a unl file when you transfer

ie on mine which is vista C:\Garmin

do not put in a map folder just your folder where you run mapsource

on the older installs it may be C:\ program\mapsource the newer installs will be C:\garmin

I dont know if you have seen this before sorry if you have but I was wanting to give something back for all the help in getting Greek maps for my holidays

How?
Put files from rar-archive in your c:\garmin dir on your pc & start “All.bat”. And ALL your maps, installed in MapSource will be unlocked. Now you can put your maps to any Garmin device or Mobile XT or Que without *.unl files.
No messing with MapIDs, device IDs, keygens or .unl files.

It does NOT work on the IMG files in the device Just the mapsource before you transfer them But it allows you to mix and match maps

I now have Toppo GB Bluechart around uk and Greece and the ADH 1.25 and some of Europe NT all on my N95 and Garmin GPS units Trick I turn off the map i do not need
eg if sailing round Greece i turn off ADH or when driving I turn off Blue Chart

if you garmin is D:\garmin change the C to D Very few maposurce intalls are in Program folder so you will have to change that to my version if your is newer like mine

When you run mapsource all should be well

IF IT SAYS there is a problem and you need to renistall Mapsource STOP close garmin go to run in start menu type regedit go to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Garmin\MapSource\Famil ies\

and DELETE the 821 re start mapsource all will be well
restart mapsource

if you look at the reistry with regedit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Garmin\MapSource\Famil ies\
see what the details are on you other FAMILY entires are and copy them into the 821 folder and all should go well

in breif if your Garmin folder is C:\garmin copy my text to note pad save as .reg and import to reg

yes its here I have found it from Aris

It works best if you install with mapsource as its hard to make 3 of the .img files work

load with mapsource and then turn of the maps you are not using with the settings on your device
the garmin Unlocker will unlock the Mapsource files for you
and will transfer the maps to your device
TIP put your card in a card reader to transfer the maps it is 10 time faster if you have a big map on Aris's page there is a mapsource with a how to video
I use ADH when driving Anavasi for walking and blue chart on the sea
You have to TURN OFF the maps as they over lap but it only takes a second in settings

but the img I downloaded will work on my old GPSmap 76CSx yet it will NOT work on the brand new Colarado It may be the way it is compressed as all my UK and USA toppo maps work fine when transferred with mapsource

BUT its OK not a big problem I will bring both my units on Holiday my old one with the Anavasi and the Colarado with ADH 130 for driving
I have a hire car at the airport in Rhodes and have to find the Hotel
As yet it does not have a proper address so I may not even find it with the Sat nav lol
Bayside Hotel is Ialyssos, Kremasti Bay, 85104 Rhodes.
I can not find that on the map as there is no road name listed for the Hotel
at least when I do find it I will make a waypoint so I will always find my way back

er yes I have tried with the tools Mapset toolkit and Gmaptool but i get stuck with a zero error

I find it hard to get maps back to the PC from the device
If it is installed it just transfers simple but I seem to have a problem to get it from the .img

Its not to big a prob it will turn up soon I am sure I think because it is new it is not easily available By my second holiday in July to the pelopponeese I am sure I will have it Rhodes is not so big to get lost
I spend all my holidays in Greece so i know it well and I have all my tracks and waypoints saved on the base map
I will also be seeking the geocaches while I am there I think too

I have transfered a small section Rhodes and all is well
IT works on all my devices
It must be the way the .img is saved as transfering it to the Colarado there is no problem

And here we have a lot of third-party maps for: Poland, Cehia and Slovakia, ex Yugoslavia countries, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Malta, Cyprus and Greece. All these countries are well known vacation destination for many Europeans and they are looking for good maps.
Hopefully, with contribution from all of us, we'll succeed.

It may be my fault I am very sorry
But its is becuase I am using 3 Garmin devices and it is quicker to TEST the maps on a garmin unit before I transfer them to my Garmin Mobile XT Nokia N95 as the transfer rate is slower and the maps open a lot slower on the GMXT
I have now installed the Greek maps to my GMXT N95 and all is well
but it is far quicker for problem solving to run them on a dedicated device
A lot of the info is the same and and any device can be used with the map
having a dedicated device has helped me in putting in info for GMXT users
a lot of the tools are developed for the Garmin Family
with out such you would not have the key gen or the Garminunlocker
You would also loose access to some maps if this was just a GMXT thread as more people have mapsource than just the GMXT users
I for one would not have such a range of maps and info if I was just using XT as I would only have my Local map that came with it
I do apologise if I have upset the thread

If we go to Thesalonika I will bring it with me as we may go look at Bulgaria now I know it is there
Its good on the Colarado because the Toppo base map shows through and you can see all the Bulgaria roads overlayed on the mountains as you zoom in gives proper road map

Dimkit, you idea posted here is more than great. In order to achieve it, maybe it is good to change also the topic title...at least remove Mobile XT xxx as what is here is working virtually on any Garmin unit.
Meantime, maybe you will succeed to bring this topic to something like Garmin European Support. It was the idea probably for the 'big' topic but it is now very difficult to be followed as become huge. My idea is to have something concentrated on East Europe - actually everything not covered good enough by CNE NT 2008, from Poland to East. And here we have a lot of third-party maps for: Poland, Cehia and Slovakia, ex Yugoslavia countries, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Malta, Cyprus and Greece. All these countries are well known vacation destination for many Europeans and they are looking for good maps.
Hopefully, with contribution from all of us, we'll succeed.

i beleive that if we start post it here maps for other countries too , the thread will be huge like the main garmin thread , that means that it will be very difficult for someone to find what it looks for. So i beleive that it will be easier if we had seperatly threads for every country.it will be much easier to find what you are searching . For example if i want to find a map of German why do i have to search to a thread with hundrent of pages and maps instead of finding a thread with maps only for german

The reason I came to this thread was indeed for the Maps of Greece for my Holidays I think a dedicated thread for each set of maps would be a good idea and allow people going to or living in other countries easy access to their chosen maps
again I am sorry if I interupted the thread I just got carried away with all the help I was getting It is the best Forum I have ever seen for helping people and in 2 days I have all I could have ever wished for and a bit extra too

I have now got latest road map ADH 130 and Toppo Anavasi 350 all working on My N95 and lots of pois too BTW the search does indeed work on ADH130 and N95 and thats with out changing to Greek language too

I follow the installation notes 1-4 but when I try to run the TopoNavKeyGen.exe a message "Σφαλμα εφαρμογης" comes and the Keygen do not work.

download Garminunlocker from above un rar an place all files in garmin
place both in garmin folder on PC
run all ( double click on "all" you placed in garmin folder anlong with gunlocker) that will unlock all maps and you can transfer or use on PC it really is that easy

I have put the two files ( Garminunlocker ) to the Garmin folder on my computer and I have the full version of anavasis.
Which filles of anavasis do I have to put where?
