I might post this request in the wrong section, since its not a 'how to' thread but a 'request', so i ask for the moderator to be kind with me :D
i own i garmin gps unit (KNA-G520) and i have installed it in my car. i live in greece so i am mostly interested in greek maps. My question is simple.
what are the steps i need to do to install new maps in my garmin unit?
so far, i have a .img file (gmapsupp.img) that has 4 in 1 maps. one of them is unlocked and the other 3 are locked. i also know the maps' ids since they are written in a text file. I copy the .img file in a \garmin directory in my sd card. i put the card in the unit and i cant see the maps since 3 of them are locked. Is there anything i can do to unlocked them? I am gratefull in advance for your time reading this request.

i also downloaded a garminkeygen programm (Version 1.3) but i dont excactly know what to do with it... i am lost somewhere in translation i guess... :(

Before you do anything. You need to know your Card ID (removable memory) by install garmin program, in the program go to setting and tab on Display, Read the information in the window like : device id, Imei and Card ID..
Now when you get the card ID, open JetMouse 1.3 KG on the top part put your CardID and click generate... in the buttom part drop down list, choose MapID and enter your Greece MapID in it and click Generate.
In the top part Generate code(25 alphnum) copy it and paste in Notepad , in file type choose All Files, Click save as Now name it "sw.unl" with extension as shown.
In the buttom part Generate code (25 alphanum) copy it and paste in Notepad, in file type choose All Files, Now click save as ,Now name it "gmapsupp.unl" with extension as shown. click save..
Like now you will have < sw.unl > and < gmapsupp.unl > put them in the same folder as your greece map. (gmapsupp.img)
put card in your gear,, zoom in your map for Map detail..
