Hi guys, i need some help and advise.

I have a PC running Microsoft Office 97 (way outdated software). I insert the CD to uninstall it. It cant uninstall. I try remove the office component by component oso not work....at the end...it just hang there. NOw some files are missing, so i try reinstall....too it just hang there.

Alternatively i insert a Office 2003 CD, trying to remove and upgrade from there. Though it did not show "hang", but it just not moving at all.

Please advise how should i remove the office 97 and install the office 2003. Thanks.

in that particular software u have drag and drop option .

u can directly drag the particular application folder on to the icon of the application so that it will remove all registry entries which was made by office...

then u can install new one

Thanks. I have installed the above Uninstaller. But i do not see any option for drag and drop.

Bro akh_nee........can u elaborate further of the function. The Help menu says "Simply drag any file and drop it into the rubbish can icon on the desktop. Follow the instructions.". Is the "rubbish can icon" refers to the Recycle Bin?
