Access has released a concept version 3.5 of the NetFront browser for Windows Mobile devices. This technical preview features improved key operation, stylus pen functionality and overall usability. The browser also features improvements in speed including first draw time, zooming speed and rendering mode selection.

Here are the key new features available in the concept version of NetFront 3.5:

Speed Improvements:
The speed of first draw time and content viewing are dramatically improved enabling fast scrolling in any direction.

Faster first draw speed:
-Faster content first draw speed
-Reduces wait time and improves the browsing experience

Faster scrolling:
Page scrolling is now faster in all directions

Faster zooming:
Switch to zoom mode by tapping twice on the device screen

Faster rendering mode switching:
Rendering mode changes are faster improving the browsing experience

Animated zoom:
Select and zoom areas on a web page quickly and smoothly






Swift Navi:
Scrolling is significantly smoother

Column Rendering:
-Text content (or news) is rendered to fit the width of the screen using a line break function
-Column Rendering renders almost exactly what you would see on a PC while also supporting vertical scrolling

PageMap:
PageMap thumbnail preview facilitates navigation

what i observed is it eats a lot of memory. mine is around 5.2mb left.

Great app! This is my default browser already.. lovely zoom function.. awesome bookmarks carousel and it eats around 8-12mbs of memory on my device.. less than IE and same memory consumption as Opera!

Just one question left; Does this one also expire on May 31th?

whats gr8 same as previous one except smooth scrolling even u cannt do two downloads at the same time.its not on standards as ppl thought,.i m waiting for opera 9

well i prefer netfront 3.5 much more than opera..... i've tryed an olderexpired version.. i will try this hoping that will wait until the final version....
